Antonio Bryant is reinstated by NFL and is a free agent

More people should use it.

give the guy a chance... he just got reinstated and said ...."im ready to prove my real self to the nfl"........ sign him jerry please sign him

why?

cant say I am seeing much wrong with the offense, save some shoddy run blocking...Bryant does nothing for that, so I see no use in him here

Ok, right after you strip down naked and jump in a cactus patch.

Then jump in a swimming pool full of lemon juice and salt.

that would be a hell of a stunt on fear factor.......

I think the Boyz should sign him for one day so he could throw a towel in Wade's face?

Just an idea, you know, to spark up the team....?

This wouldn't be a bad idea because Antonio Bryant is young and he's good. With Romo he'll be a big target... I think the Cowboys should put TG on injured reserve and sign Antonio Bryant.

Sure a few players did not get along with BP. I think that would matter more if AB had not already gone to two different teams who had no interest in re-signing him. Cleveland had him and could have used another WR, but did not want him back. SF had him and could have used another WR, but did not want him back. That is very telling.

I like his talent. He was a smooth route runner and had a knack for making big plays. And he owns Fred Smoot. He just has something between the ears that is not quite right. It prevented him from listening to coaches, running the right routes and just being a good teammate. That does not get balanced out by the talent.

I agree..both of those teams went ahead and prefered to draft younger WRs the next year as opposed to keeping AB or signed FAs.

My roomate is a crazy Browns fan and he said AB played great there but they had no QBs to throw him the ball. He also made no friends on the team and they instead signed Braylon Edwards.

But his impressions was that AB pretty much caught anything thrown his way but the throwers were sub-par.

Maybe somebody knows something more about his 9er days.

But whatever..I still think he's deserving of a look with our new coaches.

Another injury to a WR of any kind and we are swiss cheese at the position.

And it's only the 2nd game of the season.

I'm already on record in this thread stating that I don't want him and I still feel that way. But to be fair to AB the thrower he had in Dallas was subpar too.

I was really happy when we drafted AB. I thought it was a real draft steal. It didn't work so goodbye and good luck AB. Just stay out of my yard. (Sorry to steal your line CBZ!)

I saw on NFL newtork that Antionio Bryant was reinstated by the NFL and is a free agent. Do we go after him since we're not sure when Terry Glenn is coming back or stick with the young guys?

I say NOOOOOOOO to T.O. Jr.

:nono2:

Yay. Great for him.

I never did find out who shot JR..............

For league min.............I would give him a shot.

If he leaves the reservation you hand him a bus ticket, just like our deal with Tank.

Its about winning guys, nothing else matters.:)

guys this guy is good and could learn for a couple years behind to and become a star.... think about it he had problems with our old coaching staff... we have a new coach and new receivers coach and basically could start off from scratch and help us with the superbowl.... to. gelnn. bryant.crayton..hurd.. witten.. barber .. romo.. that makes sense wat an explosive offense that would be

AB did not like being behind guys when he was in Dallas 3 years ago. Why would he accept a back up role now?

He thinks he should be the #1 go to guy. I think he has the physical talents to be that type of receiver and his dropped passes are over blown. Every receiver drops passes. He just does not have that mental aspect to be the top receiver. The willingness to be a team guy and whatever else it takes to be truly elite. He did not have it in 2004 and got traded. I don't see why he would be different now.

He is still young(26) and I am sure some team will pick him up eventually, but it won't be Dallas unless the Cowboys get decimated by injuries.
