I can't see a spot for him. Crayton has performed well, as has Hurd. Glenn will be back by midseason. Hurd looks like he has AB potential without the attitude.

If Crayton's broken finger had proven to be more of a problem, then I would consider looking at Bryant or any other veteran receiver. That would have meant Dallas being out two of their top three receivers. Crayton got back in the game, so the point appears to be moot at this point.

If we are willing to sign Tank, why not Bryant?

Personally, I don't want neither of them.

Call me crazy but I really like our young guys.

I think Crayton is one of the best #3 guys in the NFL, and makes a really good #2.

Hurd, Austin, Steinbeck(sp).... they're young but I think they have a lot of potential.

I will say though, I really liked Bryant while he was here and I didn't like letting him go, but it does seem like it was probably the right thing.

To me it's difficult to judge what was going on b/w BP and Antonio because BP has drawn alot of critisizm from players here after his departure.

BP wasn't as well liked by those that were not his favorites.

I'd say bring him in and sign him if he's able to handle being a backup at this point.

With Crayton having broken his finger, while I'd like to think he can tape it up and be as effective as he was..I doubt it.

TO wasn't nearly as effective catching the ball with his broken finger and it's a distinct possibility that he will not be the same reliable WR until it gets healed, which is weeks away.

In the meantime, Bryant knows this offensive scheme and could be valuable at the 3rd WR position and as depth.

I liked this guy.

When he was here, I think Dallas was too ridged with their coaching to use him correctly. Garrett should be able to get him playing again. He's another TO if he wants to be and maybe he needs to get close to TO and see how to handle things better now that TO is grooving.

One of the things that ate at Bryant was the signing of Key back then and not giving AB the chance to expand on his good season in 2005. I can't find fault with a player that wants the opportunity to show what he can do.

TO is like that..the RBs are like that..Romo would also fall in that catagory of wanting his chance.

WR and NT are our two positions where we need help.

We are looking at Tank for one position.

We need to look at WR now.

We'll see.

Biggest question about Bryant is if he can straighten up and fly right. The kid does have talent, more than Hurd. Hurd isn't the headcase that Bryant can be, but as far as talent, I don't feel it is even close.

I think we should at least bring him in for a look. Him and TO do have a similiar mentality really, they might actually mesh.

I think Bryant may find his way to Phillie. They need all the receiver help they can get.

I saw on NFL newtork that Antionio Bryant was reinstated by the NFL and is a free agent. Do we go after him since we're not sure when Terry Glenn is coming back or stick with the young guys?

That's a great idea! Tank Johnson will need a designated driver if he comes to Dallas!

Actually, I heard Killa is going to hold Tank's targets up while he is taking pistol shooting practice.

Sure a few players did not get along with BP. I think that would matter more if AB had not already gone to two different teams who had no interest in re-signing him. Cleveland had him and could have used another WR, but did not want him back. SF had him and could have used another WR, but did not want him back. That is very telling.

I like his talent. He was a smooth route runner and had a knack for making big plays. And he owns Fred Smoot. He just has something between the ears that is not quite right. It prevented him from listening to coaches, running the right routes and just being a good teammate. That does not get balanced out by the talent.

Are you sure about his route-running ability? I thought one of the biggets knocks on him --besides his attitude, of course -- was his undisciplined routes. Wasn't he accused of free-lancing and constantly breaking his routes?
