Call me crazy but I really like our young guys.
I think Crayton is one of the best #3 guys in the NFL, and makes a really good #2.
Hurd, Austin, Steinbeck(sp).... they're young but I think they have a lot of potential.
I will say though, I really liked Bryant while he was here and I didn't like letting him go, but it does seem like it was probably the right thing.
To me it's difficult to judge what was going on b/w BP and Antonio because BP has drawn alot of critisizm from players here after his departure.
BP wasn't as well liked by those that were not his favorites.
I'd say bring him in and sign him if he's able to handle being a backup at this point.
With Crayton having broken his finger, while I'd like to think he can tape it up and be as effective as he was..I doubt it.
TO wasn't nearly as effective catching the ball with his broken finger and it's a distinct possibility that he will not be the same reliable WR until it gets healed, which is weeks away.
In the meantime, Bryant knows this offensive scheme and could be valuable at the 3rd WR position and as depth.
I liked this guy.
When he was here, I think Dallas was too ridged with their coaching to use him correctly. Garrett should be able to get him playing again. He's another TO if he wants to be and maybe he needs to get close to TO and see how to handle things better now that TO is grooving.
One of the things that ate at Bryant was the signing of Key back then and not giving AB the chance to expand on his good season in 2005. I can't find fault with a player that wants the opportunity to show what he can do.
TO is like that..the RBs are like that..Romo would also fall in that catagory of wanting his chance.
WR and NT are our two positions where we need help.
We are looking at Tank for one position.
We need to look at WR now.
We'll see.
