And give Brady 4 or more games? Or is it like I am fearing, either 2-3 game suspension or... they will come to a decision on his suspension in week 5?

Brady will get slapped on the wrist even though his infraction is probably worse than a DUI or seomthing because his infraction is to the integrity of the game. So i can see them fining him 1 game check and sternly tell him not to do it again.

Nah they have no love for the Pats... 3 game suspension, he can come back after the bye.

I very, very strongly feel he won't be suspended. I'm thinking more along the lines of a 100-200k fine. Even if he is suspended, he could probably go to court and get it dropped. If they only think he did it, but don't know for a fact he did he won't be suspended. Right now it looks like they only think he did it.

They were saying on some BSPN show that the way they worded it was to conform with civil law rules or the idea of a preponderance of evidence. They know what he did and what he tried to cover up doing, they just aren't going to say "all reasonable doubt" because they don't have to.

From the articles I have read Brady should also be taking a hit (penalty) for not cooperating with the investigation and that that alone is punishable for conduct detrimental to the league. Ofcourse the other side of the coin is that Goodell is best buds with Kraft and Kraft was pretty defiant in his statement after the report came out.

The league may not have to go by reasonable doubt, but if he decides to sue it very well may be overturned. I don't know how the courts would handle it or if they would even hear the case though. I still don't think he gets suspended for deflate gate.

I would love to be wrong though. I wouldn't mind seeing him suspended for a very long time. The levels they took to gain a competitive advantage is appalling. They altered the piece of equipment the whole game is based around. Not just that but the stats for RBs fumble rates tell me there is a major competitive advantage they've gained. RBs before they got to NE and after they left had a significant disparity in fumbles. I don't care if they couldn't prove it, I still believe Belichek knew and approved of it and would love for them to be exposed for this.

I think he gets suspended at least one game.

I'd be really surprised with a suspension as the report said he was guilty without proof.

Nothing will happen.

The NFL will have another investigation of their own, again, and will find nothing wrong. They will over rule.

The Patriots got wrist slapped before, and it will happen again. A few fines to appease the crowd of the other teams. This truly goes against the integrity of the game, But Goodell does not give a crap about that if it involves Kraft or Mara or their teams.

brady should get at least 6 to 8 games, and the team should lose draft picks, as well as fines.
If Brady knew of this, Belicheat knew of this as as well. I would believe Kraft may not have known of it though. But he is still ultimately responsible. Just as Jerry was. / is blamed for all Cowbys related stuff, so should Kraft.

Well there is a precedent for "conduct detrimental to the league" and that is 10 games as we saw with Hardy. Of course, as we saw with the Saints and bountygate, the HC and owner are still held responsible even if they knew nothing about it. So in the Saints world, Belicheat should be suspended a year, along with Brady and the team should sustain fines and loss of draft picks. But Goody, after having drinks on Kraft's yacht, will declare a $50,000 fine and a apology, claiming it was the leagues fault for not checking the balls and the Patriots promise not to cheat anymore.

They will give him three games and make a special exception where he can practice with the team earlier if they are implementing a game plan for Dallas.

I would have said slap on the wrist a few days ago, I don't think so anymore.

The bald facing lying about it before the SB, I think is worse than the initial infraction.

There is no way Brady can jive what he said before SB, with the evidence they have.

4 game suspension and he gets to choose which games, reduced by 50% if they lose one of the first 2 games

A guy that might have known about something that had no impact on a game should definitely be suspended.

Greg Hardy had all charges dropped against him and got 10 games suspension. NFL does not need proof.

Let him sue.

That way we can get his phone records.
