And give Brady 4 or more games? Or is it like I am fearing, either 2-3 game suspension or... they will come to a decision on his suspension in week 5?

Brady will get slapped on the wrist even though his infraction is probably worse than a DUI or seomthing because his infraction is to the integrity of the game. So i can see them fining him 1 game check and sternly tell him not to do it again.

I very, very strongly feel he won't be suspended. I'm thinking more along the lines of a 100-200k fine. Even if he is suspended, he could probably go to court and get it dropped. If they only think he did it, but don't know for a fact he did he won't be suspended. Right now it looks like they only think he did it.
They were saying on some BSPN show that the way they worded it was to conform with civil law rules or the idea of a preponderance of evidence. They know what he did and what he tried to cover up doing, they just aren't going to say "all reasonable doubt" because they don't have to.

A guy that might have known about something that had no impact on a game should definitely be suspended.
I'd be really surprised with a suspension as the report said he was guilty without proof.
The league may not have to go by reasonable doubt, but if he decides to sue it very well may be overturned. I don't know how the courts would handle it or if they would even hear the case though. I still don't think he gets suspended for deflate gate.
I would love to be wrong though. I wouldn't mind seeing him suspended for a very long time. The levels they took to gain a competitive advantage is appalling. They altered the piece of equipment the whole game is based around. Not just that but the stats for RBs fumble rates tell me there is a major competitive advantage they've gained. RBs before they got to NE and after they left had a significant disparity in fumbles. I don't care if they couldn't prove it, I still believe Belichek knew and approved of it and would love for them to be exposed for this.
