SO true!!!!!!I don't think the Cowboys are going to lose that game, but if they did it would be one of the most Cowboys things ever.

clean your glassesI see no evidence of that at all.
Oh okI see no evidence of that at all.
Anybody with any sense also knows that Washington is not Philadelphia, Buffalo, Miami and Detroit talent wise. Washington is closer to Carolina then the last 4 teams we played.Anyone who’s being honest and isn’t stupid knows there’s a chance the Commanders could pull off an upset. The Cowboys have struggled on the road all season with all 5 of their losses coming on the road. They’ve struggled on the road in important games. They clearly haven’t been the same team on the road. They got their butts handed to them by Washington on the road in the season finale last year. The last time they played in less than ideal conditions on the road, Buffalo blew the Cowboys out. The Cowboys aren’t playing great right now. They haven’t been scoring as much and have been turning the ball over lately. With as mistake/penalty prone as the Cowboys are if they fall behind in this game they could end up in real trouble. This game is far from a slam dunk and anyone who knows the Cowboys and the NFL knows you can’t just mark this game down as a win.
Washington has the same 4-12 record as Arizona who beat us and 3 of their wins came with Kyler Murray. We lost to Dobbs.Anybody with any sense also knows that Washington is not Philadelphia, Buffalo, Miami and Detroit talent wise. Washington is closer to Carolina then the last 4 teams we played.
An early season game after three major injuries to the offensive line and losing our second best defensive player on Thursday before the game is the same as playing a team with a coach that will be fired a 9pm and a team that will restructure completely at the end of the season. Don’t be a chicken little. Dobbs was the quarterback. We lost because of our inability to stop the run and score in the red zone. Dobbs did nothing.Washington has the same 4-12 record as Arizona who beat us and 3 of their wins came with Kyler Murray. We lost to Dobbs.
There was no excuse losing to AZ. We were a 2 TD favorite and should have easily beaten them with the players we had. They were playing with a backup QB which should have hindered them but he ended up having a career day. It was embarrassing! An early season game after three major injuries to the offensive line and losing our second best defensive player on Thursday before the game is the same as playing a team with a coach that will be fired a 9pm and a team that will restructure completely at the end of the season. While I agree, Lovie didn’t care about that last year knowing he was out. Rivera won’t either.I follow them and have a lot of close friends who are fans of theirs (grew up in DC).
They haven’t played well on either side. But they are loaded with playmakers. McLaurin, Dotson, Samuel, Gibson, Robinson.
Defense isn’t great, but Fuller always gives us fits.
Remember they are slotted in the 2 spot in the draft. A win drops them down to 7/8. Don’t think they want to lose this spot
i hear you. While I agree, Lovie didn’t care about that last year knowing he was out. Rivera won’t either.
There's no way they should be looking past this knowing what's at stake. If it's not enough to be the 2nd seed and possibly having 2 games at home, then they aren't ready for the playoffs and will lose first round.Doesn’t matter what fans assume…it’s the players’ mindset that matters. I highly doubt they’ll be looking past the team from DC.
.....been warning fellow posters all week. Hopeful they are looking at that performance again at The Star. "On any given Sunday".Did you see the game a year ago? The Cowboys were thoroughly embarrassed.
Word is they plan on sitting a lot of their veterans......been warning fellow posters all week. Hopeful they are looking at that performance again at The Star. "On any given Sunday".
Look for Washington to come out and pound the ball. Hopefully, Prescot brings his A game and slings it all over the field to his open receivers and TEs because I think this could turn out to be a very offensive game. While I pick the Cowboys to win, I'm nervous that everybody and their dog are basically assuming that we've already secured the #2 NFC seed in the playoffs. No one has even suggested the Commanders have a chance in this game. I find that odd. After all, it's a road game, the Cowboys offense haven't looked great since the Eagles game. Of course I'm not suggesting the Cowboys shouldn't win, but I'm not seeing a blowout. I think the Commanders make it tough for most of the game. What say you?
I think the team may be lacking some confidence right now. They just escaped with a win at home after two straight losses. With the division on the line and a home playoff game I don’t see the Cowboys taking this game for granted. There’s too much riding on it and they’re well aware of their road struggles. If they lose on Sunday it’s because they didn’t play well and are sputtering out. This has upset special written all over it. The team has a smugness to it and the offense has stunk 3 weeks in a row. Were it not for CD Lamb, we wouldn’t have an offense.
We’ve been beat by JV teams before…..smhi hear you.
but if management says sit Allen, fuller etc not much he can do
