While I pick the Cowboys to win, I'm nervous that everybody and their dog are basically assuming that we've already secured the #2 NFC seed in the playoffs. No one has even suggested the Commanders have a chance in this game. I find that odd. After all, it's a road game, the Cowboys offense haven't looked great since the Eagles game. Of course I'm not suggesting the Cowboys shouldn't win, but I'm not seeing a blowout. I think the Commanders make it tough for most of the game. What say you?

If I was MM, I’d announce that the playoffs start this weekend against Washington and try to get the team focused. Of course there’s a chance that we get upset. It’s the NFL.

Yes, there is a chance. This is a highly pressurized moment. We haven't been as high as a #2 seed since 2016 if memory serves. I'm hoping we don't play tight and I can relax by halftime? I think draft position and the fact that they're having a horrible year goes out the window once the game and the emotions involving your most hated rival start.

They need to keep their heads on a swivel and remain diligent in their prep work. Late season divisional games can be tricky. Normally it may be difficult staying motivated for this type of game, but with the 2 seed and division championship on the line, I think our guys will be ready to go. We've got this.

• Their run game is effective
• Their QB has a very good game because we can’t pressure and cover their good receivers and TE
• Their DL punches our OL in the mouth, repeatedly

If……

• Our front seven cannot contain the run and pressure the QB out of rhythm
• Our secondary has breakdowns
• Our OL can’t protect the QB

The Commanders are getting ready to fire their coach, locking the #2 pick in the 2024 draft and drafting a new QB. Anybody can beat anybody in this league but the Commanders have other priorities that do not include winning on Sunday.

Besides Dallas have real Superbowl aspirations they have to win their division when it is there for the taking.

If they can't win in Washington with everything to play for, they have no shot at winning a playoff game on the road.
