Any chance we see Crabtree and dez in Cowboys uniforms next season?

If the Cowboys sign Crabtree to some free agent deal, I will feel very crabby about it. He doesn't help us, and we have far more important areas to address.

Will Dez be in a Cowboy's uniform next year? As the fun folks say on this very message board, BOOK IT.

I would doubt Crabtree could add 12 touchdowns to this year's total, and that would be what his contract would probably be.

Absolutely not!
I would never say don't upgrade the WR position, but add someone in the draft if appropriate. With our issues on D, it would be foolish to put free agent money at that position.

At least not expensive free agent money other than what they spend on Bryant.

Here is the list of free agent wide receivers to be:

Bring back Miles Austin. :D

Why not? Lol

Because they are the same receiver. Big, strong, "possession" receivers. Neither is really considered a deep threat. They are more suited for the crossing routes, and the catches in traffic. That being said, there really isn't a comparison between the two. Dez is 10X the athlete Crabs is.

I think we need to draft a deep threat WR by day 2 of the draft.

I really don't think we need to worry about offense at all this offseason other than re-signing folks. You might spend a late draft pick on some more oline depth or something, but other than that? Defense. Defense. Defense.

I want to expand Cole Beasley's role next year. So any WR addition I hope comes at the expense of Williams and not Beasley.

I want to see if this oompa loompa can be our Julian Edelman.

This team Is going to finish the season 12-4 or 11-5 with this WR group, where is the need to upgrade it?

Terrence Williams made the catch of the year or top 3 for us against Seattle. He's not great but he does get separation there's no doubt about that. Invest in the defense!

We could get away by efficiently using our role players. A few passes to Beasley, some screens to Harris, a few bombs to Williams, etc. Incorporating Beasley into our offense has been a challenge to defenses, when we start to get Harris involved in short yardage situations we will be impossible to stop.
