As I'm reading the cut list of various teams, I have a couple so far:

Packers: JT O'Sullivan
Thought for sure they'd be able to trade him for a pick.

Broncos: Jeremy LeSueur.
A 3rd rd pick from a couple of years ago, I thought he was going to be a good one at safety. I think he was hurt all last season. Anyone have any more info?

Kicker Wade Richey, but I want of the kickers from Jax.

RB QGriffin would interest me if we didn't already have so much depth.

EDIT: Didn't know that France was already cut...go get him guys!!!

guard Steve Sciullo from the Eagles. He was their #3 OG for the past two years

With Peterman and Noll I think we are set at OG. Peterman gets another year regardless and Noll seems to be a Parcells favorite.

More info on this France guy please.

here's a short article I found:

Make It Or Break Time for Bryant, France
Todd France has been 4-of-4 this preseason.

By Jeff Berlinicke Staff Writer
Date: Aug 31, 2005

Despite a solid summer of kicking, either Todd France or Matt Bryant will be kicking in his last game for the Bucs who host the Houston Texans on Thursday

By Jeff Berlinicke

For two months, Matt Bryant and Todd France have been working out next to each other every day, friendly enemies in their battle for the Buccaneers kicking spot.

It’s been a friendly competition with the underlying knowledge that one of them won’t be here after next Tuesday. The problem for Bucs coach Jon Gruden is that neither one will have lost the position.

France and Bryant have been nearly perfect in practice and in the Bucs’ three preseason games heading into tonight’s finale against the Houston Texans at Raymond James Stadium. France is 4-of-4 and Bryant is 3-of-4, his only miss being a 53-yard attempt on the final play of the game in a 20-17 loss to Jacksonville on August 20. If that miss counts for anything, it can be counterbalanced by the fact that Bryant has more NFL experience, kicking for the New York Giants for most of one season.

In practice and in games, they are booming kickoffs into the end zone, something that was sadly lacking during Martin Gramatica’s long tenure with the Bucs. To make things even more intriguing, Gruden hasn’t exactly given either kicker a vote of confidence and will likely be watching the waiver wires next Tuesday when all NFL teams are required to pare their rosters down to 45.

Even if Gruden checks the waiver wire, there’s a good chance that the best kicker on the wire will be the one cut by the Bucs.

I am assuming if the Boys did sign Todd France that since Cortez made the final cut his salary is guaranteed for the year if he was cut. Is this correct?

Adam could give a more definite answer on this I'm sure but it is my understanding that they have to be on the roster on opening day...the day of the actual first game for the team.

I'd cut Nate Jones for Jeremy LeSueur.

From another board:

Don't touch him! ;)

He was out for the year last year with a sports hernia.

He was playing SS this year although in the right system I think he could make a good FS, it just doesn't really matter in ours which S pos u play.

If he comes aboard Ill be rooting for him, but I hope he makes out PS and eventually develops into the type of DB he can be. His uncle is former broncos Mike Harden, he wears his #31. He wanted to be a Bronco, his fav team as a kid, which would be obvious reasons why! I hope something gives and he turns out and back on our team and develops.

note: he was originally drafted as a CB out of Michigan. I think he runs ~4.5 40 (plenty fast enough for a FS). 6' / 200lb. 25yrs. old.

I say we sign him ASAP.
