Any names of interest so far...?

Jeff Smoker, QB from Rams
Clement, T from Broncos
Stuvaints, S from Steelers
Shazzor, S from Cardinals

I heard Mcune is beastly good. LB from Louisville who the Skins released. Maybe slow to recognize NFL offenses? I dont know but from what I read/hear he has nasty good physical ability.

Fred Gibson WR Georgia - a 4th round pick of Pittsburgh's was the guy that caught my eye. Another guy that has bouts with the dropsies, but is tall and athletic; Cowboys showed interest before the draft.

Checked the deadskins forums, they seemed a bit down that he didn't make it. Sounds like most want him back on PS.

McCune's a classic "looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane" player. The 'skin homers were all over him when he was drafted when they looked at his numbers but they never bothered to look at any tape. He just isn't a very good football player.

Some people call me Maurice lol.

Love steve miller band.

Not that I would want the Boys to sign them, but interesting cuts:

Quentin Griffin - Denver: I guess he didn't heal as well as expected.

Jamel White - Detroit: Just didn't cut it in Detroit or Cleveland.

Reggie Swinton - Houston: And the past list of Cowboys cut continue to get longer by the day. Would be a decent option at KR/PR.

Ashley Ambrose - Kansas City: Used to be looked at as one of the better CBs

Lamar Gordon - Miami: Past St.Louis RB who couldn't cut it in Miami.

Jamar Martin - Another Cowboy cut. Hardnose FB who was limited to just great blocking.

Aaron Elling - Minnesota: Another possible Kicker for the Boys to look at along w/Todd France imo.

Rashard Lee- Minnesota: Another Cowboy cut....second time for him this year.

Jesse Palmer - New York G: Haha....the Bachelor dud was finally cut. Can't throw a spiral w/your looks..haha. He should rethink that lawyer chick he dumped.

Wille Middlebrooks - SF: Past first round pick. What a bust at CB. Yup...another Shanannan pick.

Jerome Pathon and Bobby Shaw- SEA: Interesting drops. Warrick probably was the reason for this.

Chris Redman - BAL: The project is finnally over....even though the Boller one is still continuing..haha.

I thought Shazzor was supposed to be a stud safety. What happened with that?

Weren't the Boys looking at him in the draft at one point?

Those are two that jumped out at me, maybe because Parcels seemed to have intrest in at one point or another.

Come on Bill we need a real fb

Kevin Dyson, WR Washington. If only he scored in that SB for Tennessee...

Wesley Britt OT from the Chargers. Needs development but has some talent.

Even though he is a true FB, the Boys need more versatility then anything. Not enough roster spots for players w/only one skill or one area in which they can contribute.

That was a great moment in NFL history. It made up for the Music City Forward Lateral and didn't let Bud Adams have the pleasure of winning a SB :yourock:

I like Polite but I still think we need a real road grading fb. The fact that Leo Carson was our goal line fb tells me we need a real fb.

I'd be interested in putting him on the PS and seeing where that goes. Tall and athletic. I saw him play and he has potential. Could be someone Key could help develop as not just a possession receiver but a hybrid. Has better long ball potential than Key. Needs to add some weight to that 6-4 frame without losing speed and quickness. You can teach catching the ball to some extent.

I'd like to see some tape.

Thomas "Pepper" Johnson can block, don't forget Dallas has two D-lineman in on one goaline play. I think it was Ratliff or maybe Canty.

he was hurt through most of his career at Bama good frame and size but i wouldn't pick him up

fred gibson might be worth a look a poor man's keyshawn. not as fast or physical as Key.

Jarrod Baxter and Zach Tuiasosopo are also on the waiver wire, Tui has the speed to be effective as a receiver... either one might make a nice addition to the practice squad...
