I know he had the knee/nerve injury and it was supposed to take time to heal. Has there been any info from the team on his progress?

I doubt we hear much until it fires honestly. Right now he's just doing resistance work to strengthen things in general.

Define "supposed to"

During the draft they mentioned 7 inches of nerve regrowth needed as of time of injury with rate of 1 inch per month. That would mean that the nerve should have started firing by now.

I found this from a couple of weeks ago on this twitter feed.

I was listening to a sports medicine doctor on a fantasy football pod cast ( insert joke on how stupid myself and this so called doctor are now) and he was asked about injuries to players that are being over blown. He actually went out of his way to call Jaylons injury the opposite and went through an entire dialogue about how this could very well be a two year injury if the nerve heals at all.

To clarify I was in the camp that our doc did the surgery so we MUST know something and Im sure he will be ready to go next year.

Anyhow thats literally the only "news" ive heard unless "hes working out" is somehow news.

Somebody here did research on it a week ago. According to their research he has a 40% of it healing and functioning properly.

That was an estimate. Perhaps some of us will save ourselves the gray hairs and just go with what was originally conveyed. He will be ready next year.

Lol wow, I hope thats not true. Wed have to be complete morons to take those odds.

Ok so can someone explain to me what is supposed to be "firing"
The nerve. A nerve firing is sending information theough it. I believe its basically an electrical communication...basically nerve firing is the nerve performing its function.

They're obviously relying on Dr. Cooper's word, who wins awards and is a world renowned expert in complex knee ligament issues, retained by Dallas and consults Real Madrid, the two most valuable sports franchises in the world.

Kinda like arguing with Neil deGrasse Tyson about theoretical astrophysics. You may end up being right, but it's not from actually knowing what the hell you were talking about.
