Dominate? Name the Eagles fan who said we were the dominant team?

we will as soon as they get out of court for "gametime behavior".

That was funny:D

...can you help AmishCowboy name the Eagles fan who said the Eagles were dominant? I sure hope that AmishCowboy wasn't talking out of the side of his neck (meaning he was being disengenuious and trumping up trouble).

how passive is it to throw batteries at santa?

how passive is it to cheer when a player is motionless on the field?

look around you - how many people do you see that feel "safe" doing to the eagles stadium? how many feel safe walking back to their cars when it's over? ESP if they dare to wear "colors"? do fans get this irate when they know their team is "mediocre"? i've never seen a philly fan get up and shout

WE NUMBER THREE!!!! WE SORTA ARE OK!!!!!

there's a reason the philly fans have the worst reputation in the league and it's not because the rest of the world is unfair and just picking on all the misunderstood stupid accents of the world.

as for naming eagles fans - pass. that would require paying attention to what they say. much like i've come to ignore the whining of children, i've come to ignore to boasting of the average eagles fan.

you have a freaking judge there on gameday - how riled up do you get for "less than average" things where a judge will need to determine the penalty for your behavior?

i don't care what you call it - eagles fans suck and are even a lousey representation of the "bad fans" out there. if haynesworth were an eagle his jersey would be sold out by now and at least 1 city sponsored parade would have ensued for his valient effort on the field.

don't get pissed at the rest of the world for noting the obvious.

Superpunk gave me some advice during a post last month ...he said something to the effect that I shouldn't try to mix it up with posters all the time because it takes away from the thread's topic.

I just want to address your posts are fair as I can, so I'll reluctantly give it a shot ...

I couldn't tell you ...I've never thrown a battery at anyone.

I would "jeer" if the person that inflicted the injury gave a cheap shot, but I'd never pull a stupid knucklehead stunt like cheering for an injury...

I'm not even safe when I go to my own home games ...no one is, not even the many good Eagle fans. But I get your point.

No wait ...you may have stumbled on to something. If you don;t have any Eagle fan friends you wouldn't know that there are other sides to being one. One thing I can tell you ...whatever happens to my Cowboy friends at any game ...happens to me. Most Eagle fans feel that way regardless of fandom affiliation ...if you've got an Eagles fan for friend he'll have your back!

i've met danthemans g-friend online before and she's an eagles fan. between you (2) i know (2) eagles fans that are a "good" representation of the fan base. the rest of my perceptions i get from:

1) having a courtroom on the field property - name 1 other franchise that does or need this
2) noted events through the eagles history of poor sportsmanship from the fans. this ranges from booing your draft pics to no end, to the battery incident, to irvin on the field motionless and the fans cheering it on
3) owens uni in a "funeral procession" (sure, let's kill who we don't like, it's all good, right? ability to seperate emotions from game to reality isn't a strong suite of the philly fans - of any sport in that city)
4) talk of fans who've been there saying wearing a cowboys jersey is likely to result in a fight. i know of no other fanbase that i'd get this warning from
5) people who live there who say "be careful walking back to your car - angry drunks are your enemy".

if your argument is that not all fans are like this i fully agree. but enough of them are to be a valid representation of the "typical" philly/eagle fan.

boa****l, arrogant, willing to fight over stupid events and wishing death on those not "with" them.

now is this a media conspiracy or are the fans that bad?

please see point 1 before trying to answer and then give me examples of any other teams fanbase in any other sport where this ever became necessary.

you're one of the few i respect and i try to return the favor. but i shouldn't have to worry if i have "protection" while i'm at a visiting teams stadium.

I'm not deflecting from your question, I just wanted to point out that soccer fans in Europe have been rioting and tearing up stadiums in England and in Germany for years. Uncotrollable fans is not exclusive to one fandom, this is a growing concern all over; to include Eagle fans at home games.

That doesn't Make it right, but it does explain that it is something that must be dealt with.

i'm sure there are many more - i've just never seen 'em or have happened to been involved in "rational" discussions with them. like i said, i've met (2) so far that seem to know what class is and how to treat people like they'd like to be treated.

the rest are just thugs who think it's cool to hurt people in the name of whatever opens up that option. to call philly "the city of brotherly love" must mean some form of gay incest as i've never seen it shown to anyone outside that city.

i'm sorry your fanbase earned that monikor. in the long run it will be up to you and others like you to work to stop the a-holes from being the a-holes they feel is their God given right to be. When respect for others is shown by a large number of the eagles fanbase, then it can help turn it around. till then sorry - your fans suck.

as for saying we hate the skins fans more - not even close. i know of no other fanbase that even comes close to the total lack of class the eagles fan bases has come to earn.

I agree it will be a tough game. Going into Philly is never a picnic, and throw in the TO factor and its the most hostile environment imaginable.

BUt I will say that neither Washington or Tenn blitzed much because they didn't trust their secondary against Glenn, TO and Witten. The Philly secondary at this point is not much better.

While the book is blitz Bledsoe, if the O-line steps up they could pay dearly for it.

I hope Philly does try and blitz Dallas, early and often. The more they leave Owens and Glenn 1 on 1 the better it is for the Cowboys.

I hope they bring the biltz also ..
I dont worry about this game at all...I think Dallas will win easily.Philly has not looked that great and after week one Dallas has really gotten their Oline together..
The only way Philly wins this is if Dallas lets them keep it close then McNabb or that little oft injured back makes a big play.

Phillies Defense is small and not that great .
I thought they had a very good Oline until I watched Monday night and now not so special..
But with Mcchicken and that little oft injured back they have some big play potenial but if you dont let em stay close then they cant hurt you...

Further more ,
I think Eagles fans are in for some shocking news and a wake up call equal to electric shock

well, you shouldn't be, take away the deep passing game, and they do nothing, take Stallworth out of the game, and it's in the bag

No, but I certainly respect their team.

However, the arse-whipping days are done and have been since Parcells was hired. What, we've split the 6 games over the last 3 years -- including a blowout at home and a win (albeit a crazy one) on the road last year. There's more pressure on them IMO as they have to play us in Dallas at the end of the year.

Philly fans are just not as bad as you think, many are judged by a few. They live and die with their team, and have more of a boxing mentality. Kill or be killed.

I'm here to tell you, don't believe the hype, although this weekend, they will be in rare form.

Exactely, YoMick...Phonetic-Talon tries to come across as the "good fandom"...however, as soon as Iceberg sees him for what he really is...a wolf in sheep's clothing, he will find out for himself...

It don't take long to notice his veiled posts in the name of "good fandoms"!

PT "loves him some good fandoms"...

BTW, scared? TO is my boy, but he has reason to be a little scared, lol. Hopefully that game will have plenty of bodyguards, and maybe knowing TO, he might bring his own, lol.

No doubt they will be in rare form, booing TO at every opportunity throughout the whole game, whenever he does anything. That is the typical treatment, happened to Kobe when he went back, same to TO. And imagine how much Kobe touches the ball, lol.

If his name is mentioned, they will boo. I hope it doesn't get ugly, don't figure it will, but it will be a heck of an atmosphere with post-season intensity.
