Northwestern, Big 10 team, and yet another game where OSU gave up only one touchdown.

Ball State, MAC Conference, 26 points.

Next.

The Question...which is the bigger rivalry?

or

Duke vs. North Carolina basketball

Ohio State & Dallas fan here.

I think they should allow Ohio State & Michigan to play it again on Jan 8th. If it weren't for these two teams facing each other this weekend they would both remian undefeated and there would be no question who the two best teams in the country are. Everyone is asking who the best one loss team in the nation is. It'll be the loser of this game, that's who. If Michigan loses (I mean when) they will have lost to the #1 team in the nation. No other one loss team can say that. If Ohio State loses (which they won't) they will have lost to the #2 team in the nation. Again, no other one loss team can say that. Who they lost to should be more important then when they lost. Had Ohio State and Michigan started the season instead of finishing it the loser would have had time to recover and reclimb the rankings. Because their game is game 12 instead of game 1 though the loser will be penalized and fall out of national title contention.

Clearly these 2 teams are the best in college football and the real national championship will be played this weekend. My hope is that USC loses to Cal, then beats Notre Dame. Arkansas loses to LSU then beats Florida in the SEC championship game. Rutgers loses to Syracuse and then beats West Virginia. That way this weekend's loser will be regarded (rightfully) as the best one loss team in the nation and they will have no choice, but to pit them again on Jan 8th.

Illinois, i stand corrected.

So many wins in a row does get confusing.

So, Illinois, a Big 10 team, and yet another game in which Ohio St didn't allow more than a TD.

Ball State, MAC Confernce, 26 points. You must be soooo proud.

You mentioned our slip up... so I mentioned yours.

My point is WE all have bad games.

Heck, Dallas has had 4 slip ups IMO ; )

I am one of the Dallas/Michigan fans and I dont know about the rest of you guys but I am losing sleep this week over this upcoming weekend.

Not only do I gotta watch my #2 team in the nation go against our biggest rival who is #1 I gotta watch Dallas play 9-0 Indy.

Pretty similar matchup through my eyes. OSU and Indy like to put up these huge numbers and score 40 points. Too bad for the fans games are won by defense and thats exactly what Michigan and Dallas does.

Gonna be a great football weekend whether you are a fan of any of the 4 teams above. I see both games going down to wire with Dallas and Michigan coming out on top by 3-7 points each :laugh2:

Ohio State is ranked 19th in total offense, while Michigan is ranked 34th.........

Michigan is ranked 3rd in total defense, while Ohio State is ranked 8th.

Scoring offense; Ohio is ranked 8th, Michigan 26th..............
Scoring defense; Ohio is ranked first, Michigan is 5th.............

By the numbers, Ohio State looks to be better............

By the numbers Dallas looks better than most teams in the NFL. Too bad we are 5-4.

I think we can throw the numbers out for Saturday.

Win or lose... I just hope it comes down the to wire. I'd rather it close so the losing team might just egt another crack at the winner come January.

This could be a depressing weekend even tho my teams are "suppose" to lose. On the other hand, could be an amazing weekend.

Michigan has to make the trip south. That alone is going to hurt. While my wife thinks Michigan can't lose, I remind her the tide has turned, and OSU has played a tougher schedule, and played it well.

We'll see on Saturday whether it means anything.

I think I am in love ;)

I wish I had the same confidence level as your wife.

This game is gonna be what it is... forget the stats, forget the schedules.. these teams hate each other and no what exactly is on the line here.

How about this...

I'm a Dallas/Michigan fan also but a friend of mine is a Philly/Ohio St. fan. He got a little annoyed yesterday after I sung Hail to the Victors for the 38th consecutive time.

Should be a great game. Too bad there's no Wolverines on the Cowboys.

Well I kind of always thought Ohio St Fans are like Eagles Fans, bit nasty and sore losers :D
