Correct me if I'm wrong, but was he not in his first year on the job the year the Rams won?

I think Martz the coodinator, with a head coach checking his impulsive urges, would be a lot more successful than Martz the head coach.

They went to the SB but lost to New England.

1. He's made it clear he doesn't want and won't take a coordinator job. 2. He's notoriously hard to get along with. I can't *imagine* him working well as second fiddle to Parcells, and 3rd fiddle to Jerry Jones. 3. He does have legitimate health issues. I have no idea if the bacterial infection left lasting damage or leaves him open to a recurring problem of some sort, but there might be good reasons to think he's not medically qualified, either.

Last week on NFL network he said he'd consider an OC job.

Parcells will NEVER hire him.
