Special team player execution, penalties, & a turnover propensity will definitely cause a swing of momentum, & could actually determine the outcome of a game.

• One more injury on the Oline and we are in big time trouble. The backups aren't very good.
• Looney is serviceable. He's probably the best backup Olineman we have
• Give mike white a little more time and an Oline and i believe he supplants Rush as number 2 next year
• The run defense look iffy at times
• We played sloppy and without discipline. You don't have 8 turnovers regardless if it's a preseason game or not. It's a preseason game for all the teams
• Eric Bjornson would be the #1 tight end on this team.

White has a chance to be real good once he catches up to the speed of the game. Arm talent is there. I wouldn’t expose him to waivers. A team like NE/Ind would swoop him up and let him sit

Maybe on the other hand should Dallas choose to bring in a vet then you go 3 at QB and less somewhere else. I think there will be some interesting players at QB who will be cut with the intent of going to PS not just Dallas.

Nope, defence has actually looked really good all preseason, what little we have seen of the starting offense hasnt looked that bad. Everyone else has been pretty much trash. Dak Zeke and most of our OL is gonna be a lot better than the train wreck we put out there last night.

My only concern is lack of chemistry between Dak and receiving corp, should have given him a couple of series last night

Wouldn't try to gauge anything on the offensive side of the ball except that we have limited line depth & Chaz should have already been gone.

I would not cut Lenoir over last night. Disappointing yes, but if he has been doing everything well up until this point it would be an overreaction.

Thank you. People who are saying Looney is bad are just wrong. All the Cowboys post-game reports say he's performed well all-preseason. He's not a pro-bowler but he won't be the weak link of the line. As it stands now, the line is good enough for the team to still execute, it's if there's an injury that we should be worried about. I think the team will go out and grab someone though as well as a backup QB. I'm thinking RGIII but Lamar hasn't played well enough.

Chances are your right. He has one last try to make this team come Thursday but I think the odds are long. He would really have to impress to make the team. One things I hope to see is giving White the 1st half reps and Rush get 2nd half.

The CFL plays 2 preseason games, 18 regular season games, and each team gets two bye weeks.

I'd prefer that over what the NFL does now.

Just expand the rosters & do away with preseason (or max of 2). Mix young players in with starters so they can be properly evaluated rather than a hodgepodge that doesn't tell you much. I too think another bye week would be awesome.

Expanding rosters expands cost - not likely the owners would go for that. Any change would have to increase revenue or be seen as bottom-line neutral, at worst.

This game went about as expected. The only looming surprise to me was the poor play of the special teams unit.

We are going to miss Bisaccia this season badly. He was one of very few true football coaches on the staff.
