Any update on RW11?

nevermind:
IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams has three bruised ribs, and his status for Sunday's game at Kansas City is in question.

More on the Cowboys

Calvin Watkins and Tim MacMahon have the Cowboys blanketed for ESPNDallas.com. Check in with their constantly updated coverage. Blog.

Coach Wade Phillips said Monday that Williams has some cartilage damage. Williams, who said he was fine but wouldn't elaborate, was receiving treatment with an electronic stimulator placed under his shirt.

Williams was injured in the fourth quarter of the Cowboys' loss at Denver on Sunday when he was reaching for a high throw from quarterback Tony Romo and took a hit to the stomach from Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams.

"Depends on the pain and so forth as far as what his situation will be," Phillips said.

Yes, the update is he is NOT a number one reciever, and it was a bad trade.

I don't believe Romo is accurate enough to accomplish that.

The trade was made to get us to the Super Bowl last year.

It was a bad trade once it was evident that wasn't going to happen.

What else can Roy do but get wide open?

He was wide open several times yesterday but Romo can't get him the ball. Throws behind him or overthrows him and gets him hurt. Romo sucks, not Roy.

He was successful in Detroit, but not here, why is that? Garrett's play calling and Romo being so off target on his throws are the problem.

Roy needs to be used like we used Irvin, not like we used TO, but Garrett only has two plays in his arsenal, a go route and a hitch.

Someone needs to tell me why Tony always has to tell that lughead where to line up when they break the huddle. He's been with us for almost a year now, right?

hate the remark...but i give props that was good, i could help but to lol

I did learn that Williams is a little tougher than I gave him credit for: after the hit to the ribs, he came back in a few plays later to catch a pass while going across the middle of the field. I think some players would have been a little gun shy.
