He's really the only free-agent big-name I would like. Has anybody heard anything about a potential landing spot for him? I know we just freed up 8 million and am wondering if it was for him?

My guess is Goodell has been mum on possible league action on him and teams are using that to drive down the market.

Been quiet hasn't it. Colts were named early being hot on his and Suh's trail but that was quite a few days ago.

By the same 'genius' that claims that they have no interest in Murray.

Well, he was dead on about Suh, so...

Fellow Cowboys fans, I am getting a feeling that we as a group are going to be underwhelmed when FA is over in terms of signings. We will not be able to afford all of our guys much less any big names like Hardy.
Just a feeling.

I doubt the NFL is going to decide anytime soon on his suspension. They don't want him to get a big contract and bring more "bad press" so they will drag their feet and try to artificially devalue his market.

actually there is not much the NFL can do to hardy. Even the 2 game suspension under the old rules (and since his incident happened then they cannot use the new ones- Judge Doty already slapped them down on this) would be appealed since he has sat out a year. And since Doty always rules for the Players I doubt the NFL will even bother in his case. No conviction now- nothing the NFL can base any further suspension on.

The biggest hold up IMO on teams with him is that they have no idea about the possible suspension length. Has been noted that IF he is, should it be under the old agreement (2 games) or the new agreement (6 games). Making teams weary about signing him not knowing.

I for one would like to have him. But do the Cowboys?

Thought I read something this morning that the league hoped to have a decision on Hardy's future before FA started so teams would know.

According to what I heard on the SVP show. Since his allegations happened before the new conduct policy was in place, he would be under the old rule. Which was 2 games. He sat a year so they shouldn't be able to go back and enforce any more punishment.
