ok all you cowboys fans that liked and wanted walter thomas, at least for the dallas cowboys to take a look at him, we still have a chance,

i found out why cowboy undrafted players arent announced till like thursday or friday, here is what www.gbnreport.com says

ok, something is telling me to move now, however we got to get the cowboys to move and act on walter thomas

this is what i found on www.gbnreport.com
However, because most teams don?t announce their signings until the players have actually signed and returned their contracts the actual announcements are a little slow in coming. This is pretty much what has been released on the wires to date and we?ll update the list as signings are officially announced.

i checked on www.draftdaddy.com early this morning, just 7 are listed for cowboy signings, and just 5 for saints, and walter thomas wasnt on the list;

if we act now, and email, cowboys, i dont know jeff irelands email or the cowboys staff, coaches email, but if we bombard them with emails and calls about walter thomas, at least to take a look, if the saints are looking at him, why cant we?

joe
ive already emailed writers for the cowboys like mickey, norm for the ticket, nick, talking cowboys, todd archer etc, so its up to you now guys, joe

i doubt it will happen. people were saying his name all through the draft, then he still available round after round, and still available after tha draft. And there have been sveral FA signings and this guy is still available.

I just think if the cowboys wanted this guy he would already be here.

Because we all believe there is a priority need for a backup to DT Jason Ferguson and don't believe Ratliff/Stanley are long-term answers. However, in today's DMN, JJT states Phillips doesn't feel need for a big NT in his scheme and really likes Ratliff, although he best suited as a DE. JJT did raise the point that Phillips had a big DT at SD. I still remain concern cause what happens if Ferguson down for extended time unless of course he's seen enough in Ratliff and Stanley? to feel they can do the job?

adam he is like 6-5, 365, 4.9 to 5.2 in 40, with 500 bench press & 600 squat, the saints are looking at him now, i say why cant the cowboys, we need a big nuge nt that can neutralize shawn andrews og for the eagles,

at least he is worth a look,

Is this the guy that had a thread before the draft about him being able to do a forward flip? Flunked out of Oklahoma State and only started 3 games at junior college? Or am I thinking about sombody else?

Also, 500 bench press isn't that impressive when you weigh 365.

yeah, but Hoov, what if they overlooked him, like the scout did that parcells said was getting grief from the other scouts for overlooking colston wr all rookie for the saints, and reports are that the saints are looking at him now,

i say if the saints are looking at him as a NT, why cant the cowboys, at least its worth a look, dont overlook him like you did on colston wr

and dont forget there was a big boy that played for the chicago bears, the refrigerator, sure he ate himself out later, but he helped the bears get to the superbowl

like ive heard tom landry say one time and tex schramn never leave a stone unturned, go look and check it out, dont take it for granted,

I agree.

This guy has the ideal size for a 3-4 NT - unlike Ratliff or Stanley.

In my opinion, bigger is better at the nose tackle spot.

Put a huge man in the middle and a sign that says:

"You're not running here"

At this point a look at the kid doesn't cost more than a few thousand in a signing bonus - a drop in the bucket for Jones and the Cowboys.

If he doesn't pan out, what did you lose?

If he does, you've hit big-time.

He's worth taking a look at, but if the Cowboys wanted him they had plenty of chances. Plus the guy had character issues at a Junior College.

true, he had character issues, but reports are he learned his lesson, we all make mistakes, im just saying all you guys that are for us getting a big NT, let the cowboys know, before its too late,

what we got to lose, a couple thousand dollars or so; what if he is the steal of the undrafted players, and he is this years rookie like colston wr for saints was last year, and the saints are looking at him now, let the cowboys know

He supposedly was arrested for conspiracy to committ robbery. There could be a very big difference. We don't know the details. And we don't know if he was convicted. Seems many people think that people get arrested after exhaustive investigations and DNA and video evidence. People can get arrested because someone with an agenda can either convince a magistrate or influence one to sign a warrant. In many states it's arrest first then sort it out. Not quite fair to smear someone based on a report on the internet.
