It’s not just 2nd round picks. The great will McClay hasn’t been very good for awhile. They do a great sale job every off season.

2024 is tbd….really depends on if Guyton turns into and adequate starter or not. If not it’s looking like maybe a C grade? Although Guyton, Beebe, Flournoy can all still help improve that grade.

2023 was horrible….F unless Overshown turns superhuman again.

Top of the charts skillset. Why draft Tyron Smith in the 1st? Why draft Demarcus Ware in the 1st?

Can you not overly focus on that dude people been waiting to get cut for awhile it's over let it go The money they spent on him is not a big deal It's it's just what they were doing in the early off season and things went a different direction be happy about this in the old days there's no way Jerry's letting go of a guy he just spent 2 million on just to save face he would keep the guy He's cutting guys if the next guy might be hooker, We shall see he also got a deal early on the season we probably don't need him either but they keep him around it is what it is but be happy Jerry didn't keep this guy instead you're worried about when he paid him but in the past he would have kept him just because he didn't want to look like he spent 2M on a guy and then cut him a month later..

And check this out this is one example but I can tell you this The Eagles make mistakes the Rams make mistakes everyone keeps salivating over this brian Huff was a pretty good player they overpaid for in free agency $57 million three year contract with money paid up front this dude did nothing for them and they cut him and ate all that money that's a lot of money to eat I don't remember how much it was but they probably 30M

Either way that was a lot more money to spend on a pass rusher that did nothing for them yes they won a Super Bowl but he didn't even get activated for the Super Bowl he was a ghost this happens all around the league be OK that it was just 2 million..

He has played a ton of preseason, game snaps and very few impact plays. Anybody else dissapointed?

This year ? No. Its pretty much what I expected

Overall yes, very. I thought he would be another Robert Quinn type player. He even showed alot of promise as a rusher his 1st two seasons. I think he is one of those players that relys too much on explosiveness and that knee injury took too much away

It is but half of those were back half of the draft low probability picks. If you end up with 2 plus starters out of a draft class it’s typically a pretty good draft.

Didn’t want Micah? They took him 12th overall. If I remember correctly the other player they wanted was Patrick surtain, who was also pretty good.

Is that a drafting issue though? The job of Mcclay is to create a draft board of players that fit what the coaches at the time want to do. If DQ viewed run defense as secondary then that’s a separate issue.

They wanted Horn and Surtain. Both left….they also wanted Micah. Wanted him so much they traded down because they wanted the player.

What’s the standard rate for hits to misses? Seems like 2 or 3 starters is a good draft.
