Anybody else think Troy Aikman was out of line?

Troy's assessment of Hurd's catch on the last drive was absurd. A moron could tell he got both feet in.

I hope Troy Aikman never calls another Cowboys game.

Why?

*Not because he irritates me
*Not because he is anti-Cowboys
*Not because he tries to hard not to be a homer
*Not because I think he stinks (I think he is the best color guy out there)
*Not because he is stupid and makes stupid comments

But because I get weary of these threads after EVERY SINGLE COWBOYS GAME he covers.

I cannot think of one game he has done for us that we didn't have a "did Troy irritate you too" thread.

Gracious, I know I can just ignore these threads, but really, what is said in these threads that hasn't been complained about a million times before? And when does it not break down to the same old camps?

*The Troy hates the Cowboys camp
*The Troy is not a good color guy camp
*The Troy tries to hard to be perceived as not a Cowboys homer camp
*And the Troy is fair, objective and good camp

We know how it all turns out in the end, how can it be any fun to just go through the same stuff over and over again?

Funny thing about this is...I never had a problem with anything he has said before so I never entertained these threads. He got me this week....maybe It'll happen to you in a game in the future.

Oh, and I used to defend him all the time.

I am finally at home and rewatched both PI non calls and I didn't hear Aikman make any references to the Ravens.

I with you on this one. I loved Aikman as a player, but it's hard for me to get too worked up over anybody's color commentary.
