Letting both go was the right call!
There contracts were not the only thing we needed to move on from....we needed new leadership in this lockeroom....and anytime you have guys that have been here that long....players would naturally defer to them. There exit provided an opportunity for a different type of leadership to emerge. The last time we played Seattle...they started there "bullying act/routine"...and Ware and Co. played it like they usually do "turn the other cheek...take the high road"...yada yada yada. I was sick of that routine. There were several plays today where our guys were READY to brawl....and I LOVED it. Seattle was like a fish out of water when they got a taste of their own medicine. And then we bludgeon wiht the running game...it was beautiful. Too bad they do not have a legitimate downfield passing game....because Church and Wilcox will try to knock you out!
Careful man, just because you put baby powder on the surface doesn't mean the water isn't gone

I would still like to have hatcher. hatcher and Crawford would be a great tackle combo. melton is starting to play well but he does not stay on the field long enough. maybe as the season goes along he will be able to play more snaps.
The real question is, how much do they miss us? Especially Hatcher LOL.

I don't think Hatcher cares. He was looking for a big contract and he would go anywhere for that.
At least Ware made a point of saying he would not going to another NFC east team.
