Ware has not done much for Denver at all this year. Hatcher sure must enjoy losing.

10 million guaranteed and an almost guaranteed additional 3 million. Are you saying you'd take less as your one big payday to play for a winner? I don't think I'd would.

Well to Hatcher and Ware's credit they were hurt last year especially twoards the end of the year. I was for letting them guy because I believe both were a part of a mediocre culture here that needed to change. But if they take pay cuts? No one can tell me Ware in a more reserved role like our DE's are wouldn't be better than what we have. Same goes for Hatcher. We would've been even deeper.

I do believe that they were part of a weaker culture and the fact we are tougher without them makes me think we did the right thing by letting them go.

Right. I can't argue that. But at the same time, I do believe Romo and Witten were also a part of that culture and they seem to have bought into it. I think those guys would've bought into it as well. But that's not me rueing. I'm fine with how things are. I do believe in order for this culture to change....we had to get Parcells/Wade guys out of here. I believe Free, Scandrick, Romo and Witten are the only ones left......and to their credit their play seems to be getting better. I can't say the same for some guys like Ware and Miles and Hatcher though I know he had a career year last year in sacks but he really faltered towards the end in December.

Do I miss them? No. Would I like them on this team? Hell yeah!!! Can you imagine those two on this defense right now?!
Yeah I could imagine them walking away when Seattle started getting rowdy, no this team is doing just fine with yesterday's stars gone. They needed an attitude adjustment from within and it took letting guys like them go and bringing in some guys with "ride or die" attitude to get this team to play with some fire. When SEATTLE started getting rowdy so did the Cowboys! Hatcher and Ware would have been concerned about the penalty and walked away, or Thats the reason they would give...

I'm proud that d ware played and wore the star for the cowboys. He had an outstanding career here and is a first class individual and will the broncos a great deal I think. With that said, it was time to move on. Also in regards to yesterday's game, playing a read option qb was not wares strong suit. An injured rg3 clowned an injured d ware several times and that sell out looping outside rush to the qb is a recipe for disaster against Russell Wilson . Once contain is lost Wilson will beat you with his legs. See Washington game last week. We kept him in the pocket yesterday and forced him to be a big boy qb. Worked out pretty well

Not necessarily disagreeing with you, but that line has been getting thrown around a lot lately. People need to understand and respect the players that have come before the current ones. Just because a lot of people have forgotten or some were too young(like myself) to watch doesn't mean they weren't great. There is a lot of players in Canton from the Dallas Cowboys.

Yeah, I do miss them. Regardless of if this team is playing better this year, those two guys gave a lot for the Dallas Cowboys. Ware was living in the NY backfield yesterday and it was great to see..

Yeah I'd still take Ware.

The 4 sacks he's got up there in Denver shows the man absolutely can still play. So, yeah, I'd love to have him out there with this unit. Anyone who doesn't think his pass rushing ability would help this D-line is crazy.

No. NFL = no country for old men. Their impact may be felt in the first three quarters but would they have an impact in the 4th? Just asking….
