I don’t think he will go to PS.

IMO,

1)Lamb
2)Gallup
3)Tolbert
4)Houston
5)Brown
6)Turpin
7)Simi

.. with Gallup out the first few, it’ll open the door for another player.

Washington, if he doesn’t play the first few weeks is likely released. I wouldn’t lose a potential player like Houston for a one year rental on Washington

Agreed, it all depends on what they do with Gallup and Washington. They either have to cut or put Washington on the IR.

If he keeps it up he could enter the year as our WR2.

Although I can see them defaulting to Noah Brown or Simi for the experience.

Don't we get a certain number of protected practice squad players or do they have to clear waivers first?

Turpin is a return man with speed and can be 5th WR in room. Houston may have to go PS route . Prob last receiver spot between these 2 unless someone else stands out next 2 pre season games.

H-m-m, it's likely Washington will be cut and Houston might make the roster. No doubt that there's to be a numbers game, though! :omg:

I don't see how we keep 7, but as mentioned earlier we could see Brown on the initial roster with a hand shake agreement that he'll be resigned once Gallup and or Washington are placed on IR.

Not sure how we put Houston on the PS. He has been far and away the best receiver at camp

No room for Houston.

What you get from Houston, you can get the same type of play from Noah, Fehoko and Tolbert.

The one who needs to be cut is Washington.

This should be the list (6 WRs):

CeeDee
Gallup
Noah
Fehoko
Tolbert
Vasher

Turpin can be added either as a 7th WR or as an extra Special Team spot since Nall was cut and obviously the Cowboys will not be carrying a FB.

Houston will try to be sneaked on to the practice squad. You keep Vasher over Houston because Vasher is a beast in the RedZone.

Washington hasn't been all that good during his career. So cut him and keep, Lamb, Turpin, Brown, Tolbert, Fehoko, and Houston. Gallup going on the PUP, so he doesn't factor in until he comes back.

He’s just caught in balls long, contested.
We have to keep 6 WR their good enough
I think you are suggesting he doesn't make the team.

I was thinking this today. I can see them cutting him and putting him on the PS.

Everyone here will freak out when they cut him and then feel dumb when he clears waivers.

Happens every year.
