He has been far and away the best receiver at camp
This is said every year, and they end up on the practice squad. The Cowboys are stupid enough to try to sneak him onto the PS, and they'll lose him.
Agreed. However, Houston is flashing with the 1s. He could definitely play on a team like Chicago, Jacksonville, Green Bay, Kansas City etc. This is said every year, and they end up on the practice squad.
He caught a "Hail Mary" in joint practice with the Chargers today. I seen it on Twitter.

Don't we get a certain number of protected practice squad players or do they have to clear waivers first?
I'm not sure if that sounds impressive or lewd.I agree. Can't cut him when he’s just caught in balls long, contested.
Agreed, it all depends on what they do with Gallup and Washington. They either have to cut or put Washington on the IR.
I've always said those online degrees for $349.99 were worth every penny.Im an English major
Gallup will not count against the 53 on cut day. He’s just caught in balls long, contested.
We have to keep 6 WR their good enough

- They kept 6 and occasionally 7 for portions of seasons the last few years.
- 1. CeeDee
- 2. Noah Brown
- 3. Tolbert
- 4. Turpin
- 5. Fehoko
- 6. Dennis Houston
- 7. James Washington - On the 53 for 24 hours then moved to IR.
- Brandon Smith
- Vasher - Started strong but appears to have faded.
- Jaquarii Robinson
- Ty Fryfogle
excellent stuff as per usual. They have to clear waivers on the cut to 53 day.
- Note:
- Players injured after camp started must be on the 53 for cut day, then moved to IR the next day in order to be eligible to return during the season.
- Vested veterans do not have to clear waivers (until after the trade deadline).
- Work-Around Example:
- Cut a vested veteran such as ST player CJ Goodwin.
- Keep WR Washington on the 53 for cut day.
- Move Washington to IR the following day.
- Re-sign Goodwin.
- They have done this with Goodwin in the past.
- Other potential cut/re-sign veterans: DT Watkins. QB Rush. TE Sprinkle. DE Basham.
- OT Waletzko will also be a candidate for IR.
- If they sign a veteran swing-tackle, it's possible they do it the day after the cut to 53.
- i.e. After other players are moved to IR.
