Anyone agree we will beatdown Pats?

The Cowboys usually follow up embarrassments with beat downs. After the Denver debacle in 2021 they beat down Atlanta 43-3 the following week. After they were embarrassed by Washington and Sam Howell in the season finale last season 26-6, they beat down Tampa in the playoffs the following week 34-14. The Cowboys usually come back pissed and ready to play after an embarrassment. If this season is different and they end up losing to New England at home, the wheels are probably coming off.

Dear fellow zoners----any one here think we will work out wrinkles and get back to our "beatdown" ways?......i dont care if beli-cheat is super coach

this will be far different cowboys team then we trotted out last week?????.....just checking temp of room???...what ya'll think???
This seems like a situation where the Cowboys bounce back. I don't see NE rushing for 200 yards because they run a traditional attack, no read options.

Their defense held Miami to 24 points, though. I can see this being a relatively low scoring affair.

Can’t see a beatdown. I do see a win. Coach B will probably take away CeeDee and likely neutralize the run to an extent. I see more red zone issues and poor 3rd down defense for another week.

However, I have no true idea after last week. I thought they’d clobber the Cards.

Belicke told Jimmy never to take dumb players. Jerry said, I like them dumb and projects, it makes me look a genius if 1 of the 100's makes it.

After last week, Zeke is looking to break Adrian Peterson's single game rushing record. The Emperor has no clothes.

If we don’t bounce back and beat the Pats, I’ll soil myself wherever I’m watching it and throw a tantrum until I’m pacified……no pressure

Belichick has lost some luster since Brady left, but he’s still a top two coach in the league. I don’t see a beat down, especially after the weakness exposed by Arizona.

The Pats are better than the Cardinals.

I felt like Dallas had a 70 to 30% advantage over the Cardinals last week in talent (a HUGE advantage in today's NFL with high parity ...and I maintain that if they played 10 times, Dallas would win 7 or 8 of those games against Arizona. But...the Cardinals 2 or 3 games out of 10 they'd win, just happened to happen when it counted.

This week.....probably a 60-40% advantage over NE. Still a big advantage comparatively speaking..... but this isn't Ohio State vs Air Force here, it's 2 professional teams desperate for a win. So yeah, Dallas has an advantage...but if they don't play mistake free and focused, they could easily wind up 2-2

It's not going to be a different team at all what will tell the tale is if we can start fast and get the other team playing from behind then we are at our strength and can unleash our pass rush that causes the other team to make mistakes turn the ball over and give our offense more chances to try and score touchdowns or just kick field goals in the red zone

The last time I clicked on a Gorico guarantee tread, Dallas shut out the Giants.

I am channeling that magic again right here Cowboys Zone.

Depends on which Cowboys show up. No gimme games in the NFL. Pats could definitely beat us.

It was the teams MO last season. An inconsistent roller coaster.

I can understand the offense because of the injuries on the line , but the poor defensive showing was a head scratcher.

Andy Dalton didn’t get that excuse by the Dak fanboys.. hell, even DeNucci didn’t

It'll be a very close game. Pats lost by 1 score each to Philly and Miami, and in each case had the ball in the last minute in/near the red zone. And these were games where they had 3 OL out.

Last week the OL returned, and they ran for 160 yards and gave up 0 sacks vs a Jets D that's comparable to the Cowboys. It was in a monsoon against a weak Jets offense so their game plan was to take care of the ball and let the defense win.

NE's defense is for real - veteran, deep, strong on all 3 levels, can pressure, and feature a star rookie CB. Their offense lacks deep weapons but has many decent midrange weapons, most of whom are new to the team this year. Mac Jones hasn't played his best, but with his line back and getting acclimated to his new receivers and new OC, he's due. I expect a very strong performance by the Pats this weekend.

Solid post from an opposing fan, giving a unique take.

If the O-line is sitting out, we'll look like we did against the Cards offensively. We better hope the defense creates a ton of turnovers.

Cowboys win and cover.

Are we getting 3 pro bowlers back on the oline? Does that even factor into anything for You?

and before you tell me the backups did fine they didnt. Pats dline is also much better than cards. Defense overall is much Better.
mr CRoy--- can you give impression on how game will play out?....do we win convincingly or no?

I like the confident @GORICO better than the one that wants input on future wins and losses.
Can we have old fashion beatdown of Beli-Cheat????....i seriously disagree if they dont put Tyler Smith at LT but i am not their coach...as long as they have

competence at LT....Asim Richards might have a chance against their primo pass rusher i think his name is Judah or something like that?....just dont want

Dak to get hit hard from blindside....but i also realize we must protect front of pocket....i think Bass LG could do it and put Tyler LT....what you think?

i just want a beatdown....cause the Arizona loss i watched again and its like we just wiffed at lane integrity and played hero ball...first half ...we cleaned

it up more second half....what i heard is team is angry...very angry this week and need to take it out on some poor unsuspecting team like Pats?

i'm pretty sure you should have learned your lesson after last week.... zeke's going to have 300 rushing/rec scrimmage yards and we're going to lose.. he will lower that big head and take out 11 for the season. he will have his revenge.

:muttley:
dang blue----where is the cowboy Love ?....are you not a cowboy fan?....then i can understand

I think so, but it has nothing to do w/ working out wrinkles. The Pats are not very good and Mac Jones is a backup type.
mr KS-----they are better than one might think they beat Jets too...but they are 1-2...i just want a beatdown of Beli-cheat so much....how dare he come into

our house and win????....asking way too much....plus heard cowboy team very very angry looking to lay-wood any team this week.....this wont be last weeks

cowboys

Nope,,,, I got no confidence in this team whatsoever.

If we win, I will be pleasently surprised....
John---i can completely understand your view...last weeks loss was so so painful...but i heard from someone in the know...Nate Newton...that Dak and rest of

team very very angry this week...they know they messed up....and want to right the ship starting sunday 1.25 pacific time....i promised no PLATS this week

cause we all went into toilet last week...but i am licking my chops for PATS....just between me and you....guaranteed beatdown of Pats
