Anyone catch what Dez said after the game?

Yeah, this is 2014. Classy does not get you anywhere.

Ask Kim K, she just doubled her already Millions, and added Fame to her life.

Me personally I prefer a classy chick, but you can't argue with results. The trashy get the most coverage, hype, and money.

You're contradicting yourself. Why would you prefer classy if trashy gets results?
What is it about "classy" that you prefer? And if you prefer it even if trashy gets results, why are you lecturing others because they want Dez to act classy and not trashy?

And, by the way, it's not classy or trashy that is getting Dez anywhere. It's his TALENT. If Dez didn't have talent, I don't care if he were classy or trashy, he wouldn't have the opportunity to shine on the stage he has now.

Careful with facts they go against the agenda ..ssssssh

What agenda? He simply said he wish Dez would celebrate with the linemen. Just because Dez gave them gifts doesn't negate what he wishes Dez would do.

Why do you care?

Because I love my team. Because I have an opinion on it. Because I don't mind Dez doing some jawing, or even throwing up his patented X, or throwing up a gesture or sign, but to continuously mug for the camera just because it's there went from alright, "cool", to just get the camera out of Dez's face because he's beginning to look foolish.

With that said, I love Dez. He's probably my favorite Cowboy. I guess I'm just cut from a different cloth. Perhaps I'm an old fuddy duddy at age 39.

After a bit, I was hoping they would cut away from Dez. I was afraid this might happen to him:

As the players were walking off the field at the end of the game..it sounded like he said "they fixing to find out who the hell we are!"

gotta love it!!

anyone else hear that?

Ahhhh yes. I remember when Michael Irvin did an interview, they asked about winning Super Bowl... They told him, "but you guys aren't that good or something to that effect....he replied. "It's a temporary condition"

I have no problem with celebration. It's all the brand signing he's doing all the time. I'm a act like you have been there before kind of guy.

It didn't bother me. Cuz beckham started it. He threw up the x and then kinda waved it off. Dez was just responding and won the game. He gets the team fired up and he got me fired up winning that game. On to philly

I didn't realize ODB did that. Changes my whole perspective.

But try to stay classy not trashy.

Yep, a little humility goes a long way.

Nothing beats winning, .. playing to a camera sure does not.

Win the game, celebrate big time with your teammates, .. and forget about all of the other stuff going on around you.

I don't necessarily think Dez did anything wrong, .. but athletes in general are pretty big feeling, and the showboating is getting more and more.

I agree with you, but I think he was reacting to the love Odell Beckham was getting because of "The Catch."

Dez is a competitor. He doesn't want to be upstaged by another receiver. So when he catches the game winning touchdown, he's like "Yall celebrating Odell Beckham's catch. Well, celebrate THIS. We won!"

Youthful exuberance. I'm not going to get all bent out of shape over it. (Not suggesting you are either.)

The fact Beckham mocked the "X" probably played into that more than anything.

QUICK THOUGHTS

1. It used to be a sign of disrespect when one wide receiver did another's dance. It happened plenty a few years ago when Victor Cruz and his salsa were all the rage. In fact, Bryant was one of the guys who did his own version after a touchdown, and it didn't go over so well with Cruz and the Giants. On Sunday night, Bryant and Beckham each mocked the other's post-TD celebration. Beckham crossed his arm's to throw up Bryant's "X" and Bryant responded by doing the bouncing, car-driving move Beckham has done before swatting it away and throwing up the "X" and the Roc Nation symbol. "Just a little friendly competition," Bryant told FOX Sports. "I've known Odell for a while now. Like I said, he's an outstanding player and he's going to be great in the long run." The two players exchanged jerseys after the first meeting between the teams, so there has been plenty of respect between them for a while. Beckham's catch only added some more. "Odell, that was out . . . standing," Bryant said, slowing down to emphasize the word. "You give credit when it's due. That man there is balling. You've got to give it to him. He's an outstanding player. He's young. He's got that bounce. He's excited. He's very passionate about the game. Hey, New York got a great pick."

You don't know how funny that sounds to an old timer !!

I know, it's me, I'm old. But I laughed at that and thought of many of the humble old time receivers that I have seen play.
