Anyone else disappointed Bledsoe show no support for Romo on the sidelines?

I have supported Bledsoe, I like him and think he has always been a professional.

I realize that he did not want to come out of the game and that it was difficult for him.

However he did not handle it well, that's for sure.

Sometimes you just have to do the right thing and not what is the easiest.

K. Warner has always handled things like this with class.

He should have been active with the QB's coach and with Romo and the receivers when the offense came off the field.

He appeared to be pouting.

What a joke.

Some of the threads last night and today are just making me sad.

People have been beating on Drew, the whole stadium booing him and chanting romos name, the coach benches you at halftime....yet he is to be the happy camper giving the young guy a pep talk about a crappy pass blocking line.

Hey, maybe he did give him a pep talk and some pointers....as Romo got sacked and threw INTs like drew.

:p:

Wow, I guess all those great games he played have been forgotten. Romo is so seasoned and skilled now.

And what's your point?

You still think we can get to the SB with Blowsoe? I don't.

What was that famous quote from Einstein? Somthing like....

Only a crazy man would expect a different results while doing the exact same thing again.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

He went into the game as the starter, and at half time there is a legitimate question if he will ever play football again. Not sure I would be too inclined to chat it up with my replacement and coaches either.

If Romo starts next week and Bledsoe remains out of the picture or sulking on the sideline, then I think he deserves some criticism.

FWIW I'm not bashing Bledsoe the player. I started this thread due the lack of character he showed as a person and fellow teammate.

If you were replaced at your job in the middle of the day would you help your replacement? I don't mean fired. I mean demoted.

He pulled the same thing in new england, and in buffalo after he was replaced by the younger QB. Good riddance as far as im concerned.

Given his situation, especially with retirement staring him in the face and a huge crowd cheering that your career may have just ended, I think you are holding him to an impossible standard.

If Kurt Warner could do it, good for him. I don't know many other people who could do what your asking in the situation Drew was put in.

If he does it next week too, then by all means snipe away.

If I was a year from retirement and the new guy was just learning the ropes, yea I would. You have to put it into perspective.

He absolutely could have offered some great tips, like;

Defensive linemen are not ghosts. Do not attempt to throw the ball through them. I know it's tempting, but it's rarely successful.

If you're going down, hold onto the ball. Flipping it to the RB as a duck is nifty, but often catastrophic. I'm speaking from experience here.

I disagree completely. It's easy to say that he should have been happy to help out Romo. Easy if you've never had a real job or been in a similar situation.

I'm not mad at Drew. I'm mad at Parcells for starting him in the first place. I do feel sorry for him but he shouldn't have been starting for this team or any team in the NFL for that matter. After Buffalo, Drew should have worked for ESPN.

Like I said, this is Troy Aikman circa 2000 all over again.

You are right but I still feel he could have sucked it a bit. I really did not like how he distanced himself away from the team. I just think that could have waited until after the game to reflect upon what happened.

Yeah, Bob. Your demoted. Now get your butt in there and train your replacement with a big ol' smile.

You do not think that happens all the time in the work place?

Is everybody sure he didn't say anything to Romo? I would like to be positive before questioning his character.

If he didn't then it's a pretty lousy thing to do, not communicating with Romo in any way is childish.

I look at it this way, say bye bye to Drew Statue and hello to a QB that brings excitement/hope to the field!
