I am in my 50's and have for all my life looked forward to football season and the cowboy game each week. Today I'm on the zone looking for something to believe in. I see stories of JJ saying we are like the rams. I roll my eyes at the joke that this seems. Does he really believe that or is he just trying to pump up a tired fan base?

I read JG saying that nothing major is changing on the offense. Boy the guy really knows how to pump you up . Linehan says that Dak needs to start slinging it. I get the point about him playing up tight but I feel like you need to do something to help him out so he gets protection to sling it. I feel like we will run the same crap and hope he can man up and somehow become Romo.

I see rookie QB after rookie QB getting setup to succeed by their coaches. Then I look at Rush who looked great last year and now looks alot like what Dak looks like running this offense.

All of this leads me to feel meh. I'm caring less than I ever have and I hate it. Come on Cowboys give me SOMETHING to believe in on offense and think the future will be better than the current.

You’re not alone. I’m right there with you. What’s keeping me going right now is the hope for change. When these guys fail, hopefully it’s for the last time and real change occurs. If not, I may lose interest entirely. I’ve had nearly enough of this cycle of disappointment.

Honestly man , I find it very hard for us to turn it around on offense this year, don’t believe in our coaching, and Dak just looks scared, rewatch the games, sense of pressure he loses it.

I hear ya. I mentioned that in another thread. Dak and Cooper may not be answers, but why do they look so much worse after a year of coaching and training?
Garrett needs to change his current mantra of "play better" to "adjust better".

I truly believe if somewhere, somehow we could score some QB, that just with some luck of the draw could have a run like Fitzgerald for the Bucs, or like the Rams, we could make a run. We have weapons and an amazing defense. It truly is just the QB position that is lacking. 4-12, 5-11 is my prediction for this season. I'm lower than "MEH" about this year.

I'm glad I'm not alone in how I feel. I would absolutely love to see legal pick plays or bunch routes or something to give Dak wide open receivers. Maybe a designed roll out so he gets away from the pressure. At least if he can't do it then we know it's him and not the scheme. Right now it's the perfect storm of the defenses getting into his head before the WR's open up. Something has to change to have any chance.

I'm afraid you are right. That's what really worries me. I'm also afraid we will get to the off season and hear that JJ believes in JG and we will rearrange the chairs on the titanic again.

Just the QB position? The WR’s and TE’s are also garbage man. The only skill position playing well is Zeke.

Im a lunatic on game days most years. This season has been really deflating though. Obviously it started last year and any remaining hope is quickly going out the window with each putrid outing by this offense.

There's still a naive part of me that hasn't thrown in the towel but if I don't start to see our qb and offense begin to move the ball that will come to an end as well.

Ive never been part of team tank but.....smh

less than meh, frustrated at this serious lack of coaching ability on the offensive side of the ball and obviously with the HC and an owner that refuses to look the obvious square in the face and make an adjustment...31st in the league? c'mon....and it would be different if your QB and star RB were out...but zeke leads the league in rushing yards despite getting WAY too few carries (although his gaffs in the seattle game likely cost us the game)...

Garret needs to be fired.

Nothing will change until then.

Nothing will change after that, unless you Jerry gives up some control to the coach. We've had two kinds of coaches here since Jerry Took Over the team. The ones that run things: JImmy, Parcells. The Puppets: Gaily, Campo, Phillips, Garrett. If we get another puppet coach, it'll be more of the same.

I'm with you FL......I thought it could be an age thing, but like you...it's just the thought of JG producing thee worst offense in the entire NFL.

I got a feeling we will be a sea saw team and show some grit every other game.
