I've been MEH about this team for over a decade, there are aspects about this team I like, the defense is more aggressive in it's scheme which I like a lot, press coverage outside, blitzes from everywhere, the defense is attacking the offense and not sitting back in zone trying to keep everything in front of them.... We were told the offense was going to be unleashed this season, and other than a bomb to Austin against the Giants on the second play of the game, it's been a big MEH....and once again this week we're told we're going to unleash the offense and open things up.....

This weeks game is the turning point, if Dallas loses this game and the offense is MEH again, I believe this season is lost and changes are going to have to be made, I said it before, I would have never hired Garrett in the first place as a offensive coordinator, let alone as a head coach, I like that he wants his type of guys, character guys but he's undermined by Jerry at every turn, whether it's disciplined or the type of players to be drafted(Gregory is NOT a Garrett guy)...And really what does it matter who the headcaoch is when who ever it is ( a Jerry Puppet)doesn't have the power to dictate who makes the team, what coaches he wants or who plays in the game or have the authority to discipline a player because no headcoach on this team had that power to do so other than Bill Parcells and Jimmy Johnson...

The combo of the Dez catch, the fake illegal substitution penalty and poor clock management in the other Green Bay loss, and the kangaroo court that handled the Zeke investigation has damaged me.

Maybe it’s for the better. Sure as **** doesn’t feel like it.

Saturdays became bigger than Sundays for me several years ago. I actually have hope when my alma mater takes the field.

Rooting for the Cowboys has become nostalgic. This organization looks nothing like the Schramm/Landry Cowboys, other than the uniforms.

After watching that Thursday night game our stuff looks like playskool. Somebody needs to freekin do something.

It baffles me that we cant create simple mismatches.....i could easily scheme cole beasely on a linebacker.

I could easily look at a cover 2 defense and send one receiver down the sidelines a te down the deep middle and elliott straight to the middle backer. That middle backer is going to take elliott 10/10 leaving the middle wide open.

How do i know? Teams have done it to us for years

I use to plan my weekends around NFL football and the Dallas Cowboys. Now l find myself looking to games other than Dallas for exicement. With Dallas, it's the SOS, diff week. I envy these teams with innovative coaching and owners that we never see or hear. The only thing Jones will understand is a half empty stadium on game day. If l never hear "it's a process" again.....I find myself caring less and less about the NFL every week.

I am in my 50's and have for all my life looked forward to football season and the cowboy game each week. Today I'm on the zone looking for something to believe in. I see stories of JJ saying we are like the rams. I roll my eyes at the joke that this seems. Does he really believe that or is he just trying to pump up a tired fan base?

I read JG saying that nothing major is changing on the offense. Boy the guy really knows how to pump you up . Linehan says that Dak needs to start slinging it. I get the point about him playing up tight but I feel like you need to do something to help him out so he gets protection to sling it. I feel like we will run the same crap and hope he can man up and somehow become Romo.

I see rookie QB after rookie QB getting setup to succeed by their coaches. Then I look at Rush who looked great last year and now looks alot like what Dak looks like running this offense.

All of this leads me to feel meh. I'm caring less than I ever have and I hate it. Come on Cowboys give me SOMETHING to believe in on offense and think the future will be better than the current.

Meh sums it up perfectly. Meh, is the way I have felt since 2009. 8-8 is meh. It's a meh world, uninspring, and the Cowboys fit right in. Thank god we have lives outside football right

I think the better question would be is anyone not feeling meh?

I'm like one of the earlier posters. I wondered if it were more because I'm getting older and maybe less intense as a fan. Earlier in my life I would get really emotional when they played poorly. It would take me days to get over a loss. Now I watched and think "well that sucked" and I go on with my life. I know it's healthier but I can almost see myself doing something than watching the games. Heck I used to watch every play from every preseason game. This year I didn't even watch them.

I do wonder how the young fans feel. They haven't had to honor of rooting for Staubach, Drew and Preston Pearson, Dorsett, Newhouse, Golden Richards, Tony Hill, Calvin Hill, Dupree, Herschel Walker, Walt Garrison, Troy Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Novachek, Moose, etc. and that is just on offense. How about Too Tall, Randy White, Harris, Waters, Hollywood Henderson, Harvey Martin, etc. on defense.

Man we old guys are so lucky to have been life long fans.

I used to be mad until Thursday after a loss. I would rewatch tape, critique what we could’ve done! Just a play here and there

Now I can barely sit through an entire game.

I’m also going to hell for making my infant son a fan :(

Nothing will change after that, unless you Jerry gives up some control to the coach. We've had two kinds of coaches here since Jerry Took Over the team. The ones that run things: JImmy, Parcells. The Puppets: Gaily, Campo, Phillips, Garrett. If we get another puppet coach, it'll be more of the same.

The one that runs things are the coaches with the most success but old jerrah get less camera time and he hates that. See with puppets he is always in front of the camera. So he likes the latter even though the SB's and turn around came with the former except for Switzer which was really JJ team.

Add me to the club!!! I love football and our Cowboys and I HATE that we are only going into week 4 and I have to feel this way, but I do. Like many of you, I cling on to this small sliver of hope that this ship can be righted but then I remember we have Jason F-ing Garrett as Captain.

Just tired of the same. I don't want to say I want us to lose buuuuuut I'm not going to be mad if we do as it gets us closer to a new staff..... But I feel like we're going to win tomorrow and we'll be back to more of the same

I have felt Meh for 20 years. But this year is turning out EXACTLY like last year. Its a horror show from the beginning and you just know that there is no hope.

It happens nearly every year. One little injury or mishap and it all falls apart. Its the coaching. ITs absolutely terrible and everyone knows it. The team is NOW starting to fall apart from within. Beasley blaming others ect….ect…..

I’m more meh about the nfl in general than I am about the Cowboys. Win or lose, good or bad I’ll watch every second of the Cowboys game. But I virtually watch nothing else. I used to watch all I could, but the product just isn’t as good as it once was.

I'm with you FL......I thought it could be an age thing, but like you...it's just the thought of JG producing thee worst offense in the entire NFL.

I got a feeling we will be a sea saw team and show some grit every other game.

But just look at the "receiver by committee" thing. Dumbest idea I have every heard. The are literally rotating all 7 receivers in and out all game long. Talk about no continuity? How does the QB get to know his starting guys? I would think that would piss off all the receivers instead of just a few. Its like these coaches are the biggest idiots the NFL has EVER seen. This was their grand plan? This is what they came up with all offseason? Pathetic.
