The Cowboys moved the ball between the 20 yard lines all game long and there were big shots taken (guess you forgot the big Gallup shot downfield that started the drive).

With three starting linemen out the gameplan was short passes. Dak wasn't going to have all day to throw back there with a preseason offensive line out there. I think McCarthy's playcalling in the redzone has been suspect all season regardless of who's out there.

Dak's pick was bad but the score was already 28-16. And I'm not sure the defense would have gotten us the ball back even if Dak threw a TD there.
Omg….he could not even be trusted to throw a pass on the final drive…..you cant see what going on here…mike knows dak is an interception machine and blew 8 minutes off the clock with 3 yard runs and then just what mike was fearing….blammmo interception..it probably was an audible given all the previous runs

One thing Trey can bring us that Dak can't right now, and that's a top 5 pick in the draft. Dak will keep us around 20 something.

Nope, prefer to see Lance in another uniform besides Dallas

Then this is a playcalling issue, not a Dak issue. Also the running game was working, and with an undrafted free agent center, a rookie right guard, and a journeyman left tackle in the game I don't think the Cowboys wanted Dak throwing all game long.

Listen, Dak made a bad play there, but the bottom line is a touchdown there still wouldn't have given Dallas the lead. The defense would have had to get a stop, and that was a bigger issue today.

One play did not lose this game today. Stewing over Dak when this defense was run over is a LOT of misdirected energy.

Dak was not the whole problem today but we aint winning any championships with him and we aint even winning many more games with these offensive lineman turds sitting on the bench. This is pathetic. Maybe this is just a resort villa for feckless nfl lineman. You would never have see this mentality years ago showing how soft we are. A little ache and boom sitting on the bench. We are too soft.
Are we winning championships giving up 200 yards rushing?

id say thats the bigger issue. As was losing 3 pro bowlers on the oline in 1 week.

MM also panicked today.

I could care less what they say. I know what I see. If you can’t, you’re a Dak fan not a Cowboys fan.
Ah the hater logic quite bordering on the "no true Scotsman argument" and its a little sad to be honest. Your argument basically is that if I think the collective knowledge of 32 franchises who are watching tape constantly on all the players have come to rank Dak as top 10 and if I think that the collective knowledge of the entire NFL is smarter than you or me then I am not a true Cowboys fan. That is a pathetic argument and if that is the best you have then you really are desperate.

They were still in the game despite poor defensive play. A competent qb would have won this game. We got run, run, run, run, run, interception McCarthy.
Because the run game was actually working. You’re acting like he was consistently missing open guys - I saw quite a few plays where guys were NOT getting open. But, that still doesn’t forgive the defense - that’s the overarching point. This loss was on THE ENTIRE TEAM, not one person or unit. This was NOT like when Dak ALONE lost the SF game.

Threads like this after every loss are the norm.

I knew there would be a "start Lance" thread after the first loss back when Dallas got him in August.
They’re very predictable. It certainly doesn’t take a crystal ball. Lol

why not, he can hand the ball off just fine and throw questionable throws too, and at a cheaper price. :)

I actually would be happy with a top 5 pick. Just getting to the playoffs winning a wild card game and then watching Dak stink up the joint against a good defensive playoff team, I don’t think I could stomach watching that again.
