anyone else feel that NFL Network spends too much time in the past and not on the present or future....

too many NFL films, in their own words, NFL replay, Greatest games etc...

I like how NFL radio talks about NOW...they take calls answer emails etc....

I think NFL Network needs more talk shows ....I wanna hear more NFL discussion..not just Total Access a few times a day

I mean i like NFL replay but I can only watch the Giants win super bowl so many times.......:bang2:

this time of year its hard to watch ESPN and all the college B-ball BS....and especially baseball spring training........UUuugh
yes
yes
true
and yes

Overall, NFL Network sucks.
Most repetitive show lineup and commercial rotation.
Too much yesteryear.
Boring, insignificant guests and interviews.
Deion.

A little yea..

Only thing that pisses me off though, is when they show the early 90's games between the cowboys and niners they play it in that stupid close up slow motion crap...I hate it.

Play it play by play like a regualar game...LIke that we can enjoy the guys doing the game and watch them actually play.

Just my opinion.

IMO There is only so much live action shows that can be shown in an offseason. I personally think the NFLN does a good job with Total Access, Path to the Draft, etc.

I'm thankful that the NFL produces a better network than the NBA. NBATV rarely has any live shows and the production value is poor. Actually, I can't even watch it.

I'd imagine it would be hard to show highlights and have commentary about future games.

If they offer that though, let me know.....I'll head to vegas pronto.

I agree with what Chief and Cap'n stated in their posts earlier. Especially in the offseason, the retrospectives are outstanding and there's no way they wouldn't use them with them having access to such an incredible library and all.

Additionally, the reason I like NFL Network so much is precisely because it doesn't remind me of ESPN very much at all. What those clamoring for more debate-type stuff on NFL don't seem to realize is that all that stuff is mainly contrived B.S. that ESPN has come up with to fill up programming time. It started mainly with Sports Reporters with them if I remember correctly, which at the time was mainly serious, and now has evolved into a ridiculous cottage industry of debate-for-the-sake-of-debate programming.

The other thing to remember is that ESPN also has the luxury of being able to discuss all sports on shows like Around the Horn, etc., while the Network would be limited to the NFL and maybe NCAA football if they tried similar programming.
