Dak has been fine with his instincts so far, no need to force it. Playoffs, maybe a few wrinkles, but its a marathon right now.

Would love to see the team design more plays utilizing Dak's mobility. Once we're using Dak's legs, and teams have to account for his mobility, AND we're winning then that will become our identity. Once that becomes our identity, then Romo won't get the job back once he's healthy. As long as Dak stays primarily a pocket passer, then Romo gets his job back since Romo can do that also at an elite level. But the team will not change their identity just to give Romo his job back. So, I'm hoping we'll create more plays utilizing Dak's legs to the point were opposing teams have to game plan for it. And once that happens, AND we're winning doing it, then that will be our identity, then Romo will have a permanent seat on the bench.
I wasn't able to watch last week's game other than what was on Red Zone (did watch week 1 though) but I can't recall ever seeing a designed QB keeper, or even pass / run option bootlegs. We have one of the most mobile QBs in the league, why aren't we doing more to utilize this? This would help receivers, especially Dez, get open as it would force them to leave a LB to spy... And it would be especially deadly in the red zone (which is like the beginning and end of our offensive issues) where CBs would have to decide on bootlegs to come get Dak or to stay on their man. So why aren't we doing this more?
Playoffs? What team are you watching?Dak has been fine with his instincts so far, no need to force it. Playoffs, maybe a few wrinkles, but its a marathon right now.
Did you catch those hits on Wentz Monday night? He was lucky but if he keeps that up, he will not be their starting QB when we see them at mid season.NO!
Or have you not seen the brutal punishment, concussions, and injuries that RG3, Johnny Manziel, and others have undergone with only a few carries.

Yes I have seen that. I have also seen that the last 4 NFC Champs have been led by mobile QBs who run more than once a game. Maybe we should take a note from their playbook.

You mean the guy who just put up 3 points against the Rams and 12 against Miami? Seattle is about defense and running the ball. Wilson is a bus driver most of the time. Cam Newton is 6-5, 260 pounds. Colin Kaepernick is virtually out of the league.
Aaron Rodgers also runs far more than Dak, care to tell me what's wrong with him?
Aaron Rodgers has run the ball 7 times this year, Dak Prescott 3. 24 qbs in all have more credited rushing attempts than Prescott. I am not saying he should run the ball every play, but he shouldn't be 25th in rushing attempts either, especially with our red zone woes.No he doesn't. The Packers don't call read-options with Aaron Rodgers. Please.
