You can change it,
1) type in at the address bar - about:config
2) Look for browser.tabs.closeButtons (Value should be 1)
3) Change to one of the following (Whichever you prefer):
0 - Display close button only on every tab
1 - Display close button on every tab
2 - No close buttons displayed
3 - Close button only on end of tab (Like Firefox 5.0)
Once done, restart Firefox.
Hey thanks, Number 3 did the trick for me.
One other question.
If I have an address already in my address history so I click on the bar to bring the drop down menu, I click on a previous address...
In the previous version once I clicked on that address it would start loading that page, If I remember correctly, now I have to click on it to bring it to the top and than hit the Go button.
I don't remember ever hitting the go button unless I was doing a copy and paste to the browser.
Do you know how to reset that?
I have looked in my settings and do not see it.
