Anyone else watch very little NFL this year?

I think this is a record for me for fewest NFL games I’ve watched this year. I’ve watched hardly any non cowboys games and I’ve probably only seen half the cowboys games start to finish.

The product is just boring to me. Regular season is meaningless. It’s just about who gets hot in January since you just have to be respectable to get in now.

I still love the draft but not the regular season.

Agree....the NFL is crap. All the rule changes have ruined the game. You can't hit anyone anymore.....Refs dictate outcomes.....It's all fixed. Vegas now controls win and losses. It's all entertainment now....like the WWE. Nothing is real or genuine. I honestly would be shocked if this league is still functional in 20 years. 10 years....probably. There is too much money @ stake. But kids don't play anymore. Eventually....there isn't gong to be enough real talent to sustain a decent product. Plus....people are starting to see the shenanigans. They just will quit buying into it....like us.

I enjoy watching the lions to see how that story is going to end. I like rooting for the bills just because they play in the snow . I'm hoping somebody knocks the Chiefs on their arse. I hope it's my son's Chargers, it's good to see my son excited about football again.
And I'm keeping a eye on Quinn.

Yes. I followed Colorado Buffs football this year ten times more than the Cowboys. I don’t usually get interested in other teams until the playoffs.

Guilty as charged. I have watched one Cowboys game and about 3 other NFL games this year. I'm suffering from Cowboys lethargy and this spreads over to the rest of the NFL.

Thank you Jerry. It's not about them playing badly. I have seen this before. But Jerry doesn't care and talks absolute nonsense the whole time, just like his QB1. I guess I'm gonna wait until at least one of them is gone before I get back to being a fan instead of a follower again.

The 2010s weren't as bad as the Dak years. At least back then we didn't know what's coming.

Yeah I watch lots of football. Maybe not sit there and watch every single second of games, but lots of chunks here and there....because I like football

Why would you spend so much time (or any time) at a football Message Board if you didn't like football, or worse, thought it was fake. You know what I do when I don't like someting? I don't spend any time doing it or thinking about it.

"Hey, I really think square dancing sucks. I think ill go join a square dancing Message board aand and maken50 posts a day and complain about how much square dancing sucks"

This started for me a few seasons ago, football just doesn't interest me, nor does basketball, not a fan of baseball. It's boring to me, everyone gets excited for football season and seeing games, I don't, if it's not a Cowboys game, i'm not really interested. I'll watch an eagles game to see them lose and to tease my friends on social media, but that's about it. It's boring, the game is watered down and too many questions to be answered with Vegas being involved as well!

From my big picture Cowboys perspective only...
The GM, HC and QB1 remain the most important 3 positions to NFL team success.

And the current people holding those 3 positions with the Dallas Cowboys continue to be poor at their jobs.

So for me, that kind of reality lessens my motivation to watch as much until there is drastic change at those 3 positions.

So with that being said, I'll probably continue to not watch as much now and into the near future. Lol

I agree with many here about the Vegas stuff: As soon as the NFL embraced gambling things have changed. The game doesn't seem as 'pure to me anymore.

I have watched about 1 hour total all season. Extremely boring. Too many stops in the action. Too many commercials. Each game takes forever. Offense has gotten far too easy.

I was fortunate enough to be able to splurge on The Ticket this year, so I have watched probably more than ever. There's still some good games, good players and good stories. Winston has been quite amusing. Here in Tampa, Mayfield has been a good story. Detroit looks like a great story. Really pulling for them and their city.

I think the shape of the Cowboys/Jerry can be a bit of a downer for not just our boys but NFL all together, I get it.

And I just happen to glance up and see Gus' comment about NFL/gambling. Honest baffling to me....networks/NFL offering betting options before the game? Back in the day that'd be mobster racketeering.
