Anyone feel better after that PC?

Yeah I feel great about as good as finding a puddle to wash it off right after stepping in dog crap.
 
We don’t really know how this is going to go but going off of history, this is another wasted few years and a future failure UNLESS, someone in the organization can convince Jerry to tank for a top QB.
 
LOL. I reluctantly went back and listened to the first few minutes as I haven't heard much of him speaking before. Wish I hadn't. He makes Campo sound like tom coughlin.

again how is this diferent than the other coach pressers...not one got up there and said "Sorry guys im not here to win"..we dont know what kind of HC Shott is, that is true...we do know how the FO that he works for builds a team..sorry but without changes to the way this FO does its team building the end will be more of the same.

Likewise. Most that listened were simply looking for reinforcement of what they already believe.

How was it different? You didn't here the players cheering for him in the back? Changes in team building? It is simple math that they will have to sign some free agents to fill up the roster. The draft lines up for them to get a dominant runner and a 2nd runner as well.
 
The only way to compete in today’s NFL is via free agency. The idea that you build a homegrown football team has gone out the window over the last 6 to 7 years..

It’s a solid draft free up cap space and go sign 2 to 3 impact players and make a run.

The Eagles really started this trend when they won their first Super Bowl their team was loaded with other teams players, including their quarterback.

The name of the game today is to spend and win.

If Jerry gives Schottenheimer the same free agent cash that he gave Mike McCarthy this past season, it’s going to end in epic failure.

I like Schott - seems like a good dude love his father too. I would hate to see him ruined and embarrassed on the national stage when he’s handing the ball of to Malik Davis and the Eagles are handing the ball off to a plethora of running backs, including the great Saquon Barkley.

That’s what happened to Mike McCarthy this year that’s why we had seven rushing touchdowns.

When you hear the owners say “we are hanging around the rim” every year, it shows how clueless and out of touch they are. I guess being on the wrong side of being posterized all the time is considered being around the rim.
 
Thirty years is not enough for some to realize what’s going on here. Jerry doesn’t care about winning or fans. His empire is all that matters. Hope he sets alone in the Castle soon.

I believe that is obvious that they have to do more in free agency than they have in the past. You can see that they have to to fill out the roster. It's simple math. It's also obvious that the draft sets up well for them to get some outstanding running backs that they need.

What past because 2 years ago they were "Heavy" by thier standards and have less cap this time ...so tell me exactly what you mean by heavy FA..we talking 2 to 3 week ones or 5 week 4 like normal?
