Anyone got a problem with Murray as an Eagle?

Someone changed the title of the thread, .. which all together changes what I was actually asking.

All names aside, all players aside, ... my question was about ... one of the premier records/titles in single season Cowboys history, belonging to a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Leave Murray out of it. If this was about Murray I would have put it in an existing thread.

This is about our record books.

It doesn't sit will with me that an Eagle holds our record.

Right there with ya brother.:(

It sucks that he went to a division rival but I don't personally have a problem with it. He took financial security while he has the chance.

This defense might have a problem with, though. Twice a year. Eagles offense is no slouch.

He had financial security either way.

Hate it.

How come it seems like we never sign any of our divisional rivals' castoffs, but our guys seem to keep end up over there? Maybe it's just perception or I'm not remembering clearly, but I can't recall the last time Dallas signed somebody - much less a starter - from PHI, WAS, or NYG.

Yeah I have a problem.. Murray should've been the all time single season leader for the entire NFL but the guy has no vision.

Good thing for him is Philly plays sideways football then hits you straight up the middle. He'll do great in that role there.

His vision is bad. So many ppl are blind to the fact. And a fumbler. His blocking is the hardest thing to replace.

Liked him as a cowboy. Would have been happy to have him back at the right price. He is no longer a cowboy but instead an eagle. He is now the enemy and will be treated as such by me

I noticed that years ago. It's like we are a farm system for the rest of the division. I don't remember the last time we signed any of their castoffs besides TO of course. I remember Arrington say he could never play for Dallas because of the rivalry but he went on to sign with the Giants.

Was no...

When I was in the military, as a leader and a manager, I learned very early.....do not focus on personnel that can no longer help you. Instead, focus on those who can. Just sayin'...

Does anybody have a problem with the Dallas Cowboys all-time single season rushing leader ... being a Philadelphia Eagle?

I wish it was still Emmitt.

Im glad he got paid. He turned one good season into 42 large. I was impressed.

So Murray has no vision, speed, agility, acceleration, hands or any other trait a running back needs to succeed in this league. I'm shocked he can tie his shoes every morning without falling on his arse.

There will be no end to the downplaying of this guy's talent around here it seems.

Now that he is rich, he will have someone else do it for him..

Just gotta wonder if chip could trade murray to raiders with maybe this year and next first to get #4 pick for mariota....

Raiders wanted him for bigger contract than philly signed him for.. He would have hurt dallas and get his qb.. But I wonder about bradford... Maybe trade him to Ten who were supposedly already in talks for him ...

Something doesnt seem right about him having all those RBs..

I think he's going to trade Sproles; to be honest. But it is strange Ryan Mathews still signed with them even after they picked up Murray. Almost as if he was told something.......

I had to hear about it from an Eagles fan today, all day. Unfortunately he's right. Murray is a perfect fit for what they want to do, and by getting rid of McCoy they were able to fit him, Matthews, and Alonso under the cap. That firkin team always seems to come out smelling like a rose. At least I can still keep no Super Bowl's over his head.

Funny thing is, though, how many players have left Dallas, went to a division rival, and amounted to anything more than an overpaid turd?

T.O. was the last one we've signed from a division rival, IIRC. Say what you want about the man, himself, but he was an animal on the field.
