Anyone happy we are sitting at 7-3?

I predicted 6-9 wins before the season started, so 7-3 looks pretty good. If the Boys miss the playoffs, that loss to the skins will be haunting. I'm still wondering why we didn't run the ball more vs the skins.

Looking at the final 6 games, I feel like the boys HAVE to win vs the Giants, Skins, and Bears. They are clearly inferior teams that don't have much left to play for other than playing the spoiler role.

That leaves the 2 games vs the Eagles and 1 vs the Colts. I think Andrew Luck will pick apart our defense unless we develop a pass rush or get more creative with blitzes. Get a split vs the Eagles and we are looking at a very successful 11 win season.

It sucks, reality has set in that there are only 6 games left :(

Not including post-season of course. This season has really flown by....................

The skins loss still bothers me a bit but we control our own destiny to win the division. If it weren't for the insane rivalry that we have with the skins that loss would bother me more. I'll take 7-3 and a late bye. Not bad.

If anyone told me we would be 7-3 by the bye week back in April, I likely wouldn't have believed it. Considering the disaster we experienced last year, being happy with our current situation is most assuredly a no-brainer. Anytime we're in a position of strength to compete for a division crown, it's a far cry from being scorned as a hapless loser. The transition from our 2013 season to 2014 has been nothing short of amazing. Happy? Yes.

I would have said 7-3 at the bye is ridiculous and called you a homer if you told me this before the season. Glad I was wrong.

I'm happy. Looking back we have two wins vs playoff teams that people expected to be losses. Dominating NO and Seattle leads me to believe this team will be in the playoffs and having to deal with our Oline will be a nightmare then and for years to come!

Can't complain. I feel like all three losses were winnable games under slightly different circumstances (Romo health against 49ers, playcalling against Indigenous Peoples, Romo health against Cardinals), but you're going to have those.

Am I happy with the numbers, yeah maybe if I didn't know what happened in the AZ and particularly in the WA game. 7-3 is good, but we let at least 1 get away that we should not have. It's a 16 game season and sitting at 7-3 we've just set the table for how we must play the rest of the season. We can only "afford" to lose 2 more games tops and be where we want to be to start the tourney (maybe only 1). Rest up, heal up and lace it up tight Boys and finish like I know we can!

Didn't think we'd even get 7wins this year. Of course I'm happy.

That being said, I'll be happier when we beat the Eagles.

I'm not unhappy to be 7-3 at this point.

I do know this team was a bit better play/coaching away from being 8-2 right now.

There was nothing that would have made the Arizona game better without Romo. Weeden was garbage.

Not being prepared for what the skins did on defense which directly led to Romo missing the next game really pisses me off but if they split with philly and beat the skins next time, I'll forget about it. 7-3 is much better than I expected but since we are here, I want more. Anything less than 10-6 and at least one playoff victory will be a disappointment at this point.

Great post.

Except. One and done won't sit well with me. At all. (I/you want more)
