People have been wearing afros throughout and it was real popular in the early to mid 90's so the jheri was the PERFECT hair for Jackson to play that part. Plus afros are cool. No one sported a jheri or would ever want to go back to that hair style.So that made it that much more funnier and he was playing a gangster so he was being serious but looked funny.
