You bring up a good point. Why...can;t we appreciate zeke? Look up "best Dallas Cowboys RB". What do you see?

People make excuses about "contract". "Hair". "Nose ring". Fake phony suspension. "party boy". WHO CARES! 3rd best RB we even had, and he let us ruin him. You think Emmitt or Tony would hike the ball? That Tom Or Jimmy would even ask them too? Please. Stop that nonsense is so embarrassing.

How fitting the final play showcased Dallas misuse and abuse of a great Cowboy player. And this thread proving how fans are such egomaniac, narcistic, unappreciative idiots about it. Here's your Kool Kids Klub certificate!

Fine...we'll move on (except the haters that can't). But he's in the books....they will have to live with that till their dying days.
I don't think today's type of fans actually know how to respect players once they see their game diminishing they're overpaid and they're not producing they just turn against them now they become disrespected.. I blame social media and the over saturation the way they break down players that includes all of our players like Prescott look what Josh Allen did last night you think they're gonna talk about that all week on every segment of every ESPN show?? The Cowboys fan base and the media just way focus their attention on the Cowboys and with all that negative feedback they're getting from the national media and all this analytics and the breakdowns our players are being way unfairly judged and I think our fans listen to that crap and they buy into it as if it's the Bible...

But back to Ezekiel Elliott he was one of my favorite players day one when I saw him run over some guys in Seattle in the preseason game and when you look at what he did in college which I saw because it was on a national stage I knew he was destined for great things and if anyone thinks he didn't have a great career they better look again I mean they try to make excuses at his 8300 yards and all the touchdowns in his receiving yards stack up to be better or at least on par with guys like Terrell Davis and others and yet they say well he didn't win anything really the team didn't win anything but his numbers his rushing crowns his accomplishments should be respected he was one of the best running backs in the NFL for four years in his back-to-back years in college coming into his rookie season which was one of the best rookie seasons by any NFL running back ever it's like top five and the fans turn on him I don't get it..

Zeke's 2022 season was unremarkable and none of that is defining. Nobody remembers that stuff. You see that from multiple RBs.

Derrick Henry has the 99 yard TD run that tied it with a Cowboys legend and stiff arms players into the abyss every other week. And Zeke has what....pushing a pile? Zeke's biggest and most memorable plays came in his rookie season and one game in 2017. That was it.

The idea that he is one of Cowboys best players of all time is just absurd.
I will be the first to admit that Zeke has been terrible over the last 3 years. But his career stats and Derrick Henry's career have been pretty much equal.

Derrick Henry 8,398 career yards

Ezekiel Elliot 8,291 career yards

Here's a laugher all those people who are happy zeke left but they were crying crying from the rooftops to bring in dalvin cook

Breece Hall10127012.7
Dalvin Cook133302.54

please don't say it was the offensive line or the quarterback that's the same players last night from the same team one came off a major injury from last year and one got $8 million why he sat out and waited and no other team really made him big offer so he settled for The Jets now look

say you're laughing at Ezekiel elliott's output with the patriots and you're glad he's gone but you wanted dalvin cook or some guy like him instead of what we have Tony Pollard was a lot better than dalvin cook so we should have paid dalvin cook 6 to $8 million to come here and do that   :lmao2:

I'd rather see more of deuce Vaughn..

I actually no longer care about Elliott. He doesn't play for my team.

He's your obsession.

The only thing I've done in this thread is point out his YPC in that game, which was better than our No. 2 back's YPC. Frankly, I hope all of our backs end up with a better YPC than Elliott this year because it's beneficial to our team.
I do care about how Zeke does in NE.

He’s the 3rd leading rusher in Cowboys history.

Don’t worry about the #ZekeHate

Too bad Zeke can’t return all the TDs he scored for us.

I miss a more powerful back with size, but not Zeke specifically.

It's all good. The fat little fumble boy is choking the life out of the Pats now instead of us.

Dalvin Cook was always a one hit wonder. Better than average. But nothing special.

I don't get why we are still talking about Zeke, he's gone.
The Zeke haters a just as bad as the Dak haters.
Right, some are still obsessed. I moved on just as I did when Dez was let go as well.
Just as I will when player X, Y & Z are gone, whomever (I think that is correct use and not whoever) they may be.
