I don't think today's type of fans actually know how to respect players once they see their game diminishing they're overpaid and they're not producing they just turn against them now they become disrespected.. I blame social media and the over saturation the way they break down players that includes all of our players like Prescott look what Josh Allen did last night you think they're gonna talk about that all week on every segment of every ESPN show?? The Cowboys fan base and the media just way focus their attention on the Cowboys and with all that negative feedback they're getting from the national media and all this analytics and the breakdowns our players are being way unfairly judged and I think our fans listen to that crap and they buy into it as if it's the Bible...You bring up a good point. Why...can;t we appreciate zeke? Look up "best Dallas Cowboys RB". What do you see?
People make excuses about "contract". "Hair". "Nose ring". Fake phony suspension. "party boy". WHO CARES! 3rd best RB we even had, and he let us ruin him. You think Emmitt or Tony would hike the ball? That Tom Or Jimmy would even ask them too? Please. Stop that nonsense is so embarrassing.
How fitting the final play showcased Dallas misuse and abuse of a great Cowboy player. And this thread proving how fans are such egomaniac, narcistic, unappreciative idiots about it. Here's your Kool Kids Klub certificate!
Fine...we'll move on (except the haters that can't). But he's in the books....they will have to live with that till their dying days.
But back to Ezekiel Elliott he was one of my favorite players day one when I saw him run over some guys in Seattle in the preseason game and when you look at what he did in college which I saw because it was on a national stage I knew he was destined for great things and if anyone thinks he didn't have a great career they better look again I mean they try to make excuses at his 8300 yards and all the touchdowns in his receiving yards stack up to be better or at least on par with guys like Terrell Davis and others and yet they say well he didn't win anything really the team didn't win anything but his numbers his rushing crowns his accomplishments should be respected he was one of the best running backs in the NFL for four years in his back-to-back years in college coming into his rookie season which was one of the best rookie seasons by any NFL running back ever it's like top five and the fans turn on him I don't get it..
