Anyone Notice that TO leads the league in Receiving Yards?

Most teams generally want their highly paid defenders to play in both pass and run situations. For example, we don't take Ware off the field and say "he's not a run defensive end".

Roy is on the field in "pass situations" -- he's been on the field for all but one third-down play this season. When he has come out has almost exclusively been on first and second downs, and mostly in the first half.

Owens has not dropped 8 passes this yr, and Jaworski said Moss had 5 drops in the last 2 or 3 games alone

David

that just shows that dropped passes need to be kept as an official stat. of course, it's hard to differentiate between a dropped pass and a poor pass.

what was T.O.'s prediction when he wrote that fantasy football open letter?

He was out on two third downs in the Packers game (in the first series).

But regardless, it's hard to argue that all first and second downs aren't pass plays. I'd wager that when the Packers go 3-5 wide, even on 1st and 2nd downs, they pass more than they run.

So here is my pledge to all fantasy owners who draft me in 2007:

I will catch the ball.

I will score touchdowns.

I will have a great season.

... I'm aiming for 100 catches, 1,500 yards and at least 20 touchdowns. With our quarterback passing the ball, this is entirely possible.

And speaking of my QB ... you might as well draft him too, because he's going to the Pro Bowl this year.

Put me on your team and you won't be disappointed. I am going to help you win your fantasy league this season.

He's also only two touchdowns away from tying Cris Carter for the 2nd most all-time (130).

From there, it's a long march catching Jerry Rice's mark of 197 touchdowns.

Terrell Owens' projected Season Stats:

95 catches, 1665 yards, 19 TDs

We sure as hell better honor him for that. Hopefully we learned from how sensitive he was after Philly didn't bother to do anything for his 100th TD.

I thought of that as well. I think Jerry is smart enough to do that.

Edit: Consider also that this is a franchise that is USED to having its players break milestones.

That would be awesome! Poetic justice. :eagles:

TO and Romo are in fire in the fantasy realm. They have me on a 5 game winning streak and surging into the playoffs with all the momentum. Mwuahahaha. Witten and the Dallas D haven't been too bad either. (yes I am a homer).

Man.. if I could turn the clock back exactly one year this post would have been something along the lines of "Anyone notice that TO still sucks with his piddly flailing finger?".

hehe... j/k man. It is true though. TO is coming through like I knew he would. Healthy finger = contagious TO love.

If it weren't for the wind last night, I'm not sure Moss wouldn't have 2-3 more TD catches. There were several times where he blew right by the Ravens secondary and Brady couldn't get the ball to him in the wind.

On a per attempt basis, Ben Watson has to be leading the league in drops. That guy is pathetic.

Moss dropped a perfect strike in the endzone, it may have been a little behind him, but it hit him right in the hands

I have the NFL leading receiver (TO) and leading rusher (AD) on my fantasy team. Needless to say I'm doing pretty well.

My fantasy league starting line-up is

QB-Romo
RBs- AD- Ryan Grant( pick up off waivers 2 weeks ago)
WR- TO, Moss, forgot other WR off hand from Denver
TE- Winslow and Gates
Folk as K
Dallas and Minn def.....

And the funny thing is I have Peyton Manning and he only started one game for me and that was during the bye week...

I was one of the Haters when Jerrah signed TO for the boys.
I was one saying sorry to TO and he has showed (at least for me) that he´s trying to improve and help the boys to win with everybit of his power, so Im a TO fan right now.
Those numbers makes me feel so happy and it says a lot of our team having him right there...

Yet, I still cant believe that interception that he gave away last game
