Anyone Notice that TO leads the league in Receiving Yards?

T Owens 1249
R Wayne 1169
R Moss 1129
C Johnson 1127
L Fitzgerald 1063
B Edwards 1043
T Holt 944
R White 920
T Houshmandzadeh 914
B Marshall 914

But... but... Randy Moss is the best WR in the league!!!

He's even an MVP candidate!!! The media says so!

Moss has 77 yards over the past 2 weeks.

Maybe Jaws is right.

everyone keeps gushing over Moss and how he should be MVP...what about Owens? His overall numbers are better...he has 4 few receptions and 3 fewer tds, but he has 2.5yds per catch more...he's having a better year

and Moss has dropped more balls too

then you have to factor in that New England throws the ball more than we do, plus the other WR's Stallworth and Welker have been healthy all year as well

In receiving yards with 1249.

Wayne is #2 with 1169 and Moss is #3 with 1129.

Whoops I just reposted this. Sorry about that. I lack reading comprehension.

What did he say?

(unless you meant the shark...)

I have the NFL leading receiver (TO) and leading rusher (AD) on my fantasy team. Needless to say I'm doing pretty well.

That Moss has been taking plays off lately and reverting to his pre-2007 self.

Yep, I got TO in my league too. Very nice year.

I still have a hard time ranking TO as the best until he can stop dropping critical TD passes that hit him right in the hands.

Leaders in terms of times targeted (before last weekend's games)

Fitzgerald - 125
Houshmandzedah - 122
Derrick Mason - 121
Chad Johnson - 112
Wayne - 109
Owens - 106
Marshall - 106
Moss, Holt and Edwards are tied with 104.

Oh, I wonder why we aren't hearing anything about who is leading the NFL in drops this year ?

If it weren't for the wind last night, I'm not sure Moss wouldn't have 2-3 more TD catches. There were several times where he blew right by the Ravens secondary and Brady couldn't get the ball to him in the wind.

On a per attempt basis, Ben Watson has to be leading the league in drops. That guy is pathetic.

Of course, if it wasn't for the wind, the Ravens might have been more protective against the deep pass. They played a lot man coverage without much help over the top.

What's really sad is that my buddy (an Eagles fan) has T.O., Romo and Witten on his fantasy team in our league. He drafted Romo in the early 3rd and he also has A. Peterson. He's killin' us! As a Boys fan, I feel ashamed.
