Didn't Romo have healthy success till he signed a big contract and the line was heavily neglected? Is history starting to repeat itself? Both QB had pass happy coordinators too. Romos only real successful season came when they dialed down pass plays and finally ran the ball consistently in 14 then after letting Murray walk went back to pass heavy offense that allowed Romo to get hurt again. I know he got hurt in 16 too in the preseason but seamed like it was a freak tackle/injury but man I still think of what could have been Romo with a prime Zeke. Oh well I just am starting to think that this team especially the OC gets to crazy with the pass plays.

FYI I will never buy a mattress from Sleep Number, NEVER!

I guess you dont see the correlation?

The one between having a good run game and running the ball?

Or the one between having a ineffective run game and going away from it because of that?

Both of them started turning to glass at the mid point of their careers?

I bought the top of the line Sleep Number bed and I love it.... I didn't buy it because of Dak, I bought because i have a bad back and I'm not a frivolous fool....

Difference is Romo had a brand new top 3 Oline late in his years. Dak does not.

Fix the Oline and you will see Dak, the RBs and WRs perform much better.

Yes....5+ yards per carry early in the game against the stout Bucs is "ineffective". And needed done away with.

Your Zeke hate is concerning. I think it's effecting your general well being.

There are many comparisons between the two men. None are positive. How is Dak at golf?

You're right. Zeke was running well the few times he was given the ball. Problem was Steele started committing dumb false-start penalties that would put the Offense from a 3rd & short into a 3rd & long. At that point, you're forced to pass.

Respectively disagree. There were 12 none positive QB's before Aikman & 11 none positive QB's after Aikman. Romo & Prescott are the ONLY 2 QB's who not only took Dallas to playoffs, but also won playoffs w/horrific Olines & HC's. How is that not positive?!

The only shared theme is the one they share with every QB,,, if you block better and can run the ball they play better. Other than that Romo was an infinitely better QB than Dak ever will be.

Yea, I'm not sure what he is talking about. Zeke was extremely effective in the running game and the coaches did stop for some reason

Undrafted/4th-5th rounder. This isn't going to cut it in the NFL.

The 2014 and 2016 lines were some of the best in the NFL

Romo never looked as bad as Dak has over the last 10 games. Romo could escape pressure, something Dak really struggles with. A poor line is going to effect Dak way more.
Romo was also said to run offensive meetings during the week. He was de facto offensive co ordinator. He was much better pre snap, processing what he was looking at across the line and making adjustments on the fly. You either have that or you don't.
