Anyone starting to see a consistent theme between Romo and Dak

Both suffered injuries and their production declined, I guess?

I don't think that's unique to them, but it is horrid luck for a single team to have it happen consecutively for their franchise QBs.

Romo never looked as bad as Dak has over the last 10 games. Romo could escape pressure, something Dak really struggles with. A poor line is going to effect Dak way more.
Plus Dak struggles to consistently throw a good ball yet front office consider him to be a top 2 QB!

It especially stinks for Romo , because as he mentioned. By the time he had truly figured out the mental piece, his body just couldn’t withstand the punishment. Unfortunately. I loved the 2014 version. He was at his best because he didn’t have to carry the team. Helps tremendously with that oline.

I don't believe a word from their mouths. I go by their actions. We'll see what they truly think of Dak after this season, one way or the other. Not pushing more of his money forward would be the first sign.

I see a consistent theme. Horrendous front office.
:hammer:
Yup.
Jerry Jones regime is the common denominator.
We all know what Jimmy meant to the cowboys. And we all know Bill Parcells' cowboys was trending upwards. Those two legendary coaches kept Jerry in check.
Then came Jerry with his ego and idiocy...and rest is history.

What did Dak have last year? He had the line and then some. Dak is trash
Uhhh, no. The Oline was not top 5 or even close to it last season. They even led the league in penalties and couldn't get Zeke and the running game going. That certainly is not top 5 or 10. More like 15 at best.

All true. But that 2014 team was similar to 2016 in that the offense hid the defense with ball control. A better D and they would have been really dangerous. Like putting Romo on today's Titans. That's a dangerous combo.

Yet everyone points to the number 1 offense. So your telling me Dak ran the number 1 offense with a bottom 5 OLine? You fans are comical. Smith, Williams, Biadz, Martin and Collins is a top 5 Oline. Wether the OC can stick to the run or not is on the OC.

No, it's not. The rushing attack was not even top 8. The oline led the league in penalties. But Dak certainly was top 5 in passing and even broke Romo's franchise passing TDs single season record. But Dak is trash, eh?

Be quiet.

Difference is Romo had a brand new top 3 Oline late in his years. Dak does not.

Fix the Oline and you will see Dak, the RBs and WRs perform much better.
Dak had that line...and couldn't do anything with it...EARLY on.
You're right. Zeke was running well the few times he was given the ball. Problem was Steele started committing dumb false-start penalties that would put the Offense from a 3rd & short into a 3rd & long. At that point, you're forced to pass.
No...you are not "forced to pass". As long as you have that attitude of course the defense knows what you are going to do.

Before you start in on me making assumptions...NO...of course I am not saying run it every time on 3rd and 8 or 11. But...if you're having trouble PASSING it on 3rd and long...since as YOU let the defense KNOW you aren't going to run it...why not run it once in a awhile?

Glad you aren't our OC...as bad as Moore.

What has dak lead us to? Stats against the NCF East?

YEs...I know he played well against the Bucs last year. And i think there was one other game Dak defenders use........and yes...there are of course other factors.

It's not just "outliers".....Dak has glaring issues. They are getting exposed...to people that need them to glare.

Stop telling other people to shut up if they don't agree with you. They are allowed their opinion every bit as much as you. Try to be civilized about it.

Romo progressed faster than Dak but many here forget the Romo struggles in certain areas, early on.

But I have to give credit to the OP for cleverly disguising a "Dak hate thread" with such an innocent title !

Be quiet if you're spewing lies and falsehoods. The facts don't fit his narrative that Dak is trash. You are entitled to dislike a player, but you're not entitled to your own facts.

I would smoke you when it comes to building a team and calling the right plays. Bank it.

I could be misremembering, as that often happens lately, but I thought Steele's mistakes were later in the game.

Same consistent theme for the last 27 years.
That's just wrong.

Why would you post that picture for all of us to see???
