Anyone still thinks this leads to an Adrian Peterson signing?

That thing plays 8 Track Tapes right? That's hilarious.

.
No that was a cassette player, I doubt kraco made a 8 Track player.
They should have a USB player now that just plays usb sticks. Do they have that yet?
most still play cd's.
if they just play usb, they could be very small players.

I've experienced 2 of the Cowboys 3 SB losses and trust me a SB loss is the most PAINFUL loss you'll ever suffer through as a fan unless you were around for the 1981 NFC title game loss. I would rather the Cowboys lose prior to reaching the SB than to lose in the SB. A SB loss tears your guts out.

it depends on how much importance you play on the game.
1.If you put a lot, then loss is painful, but a win is exhilarating !
2.if not a lot then loss is meh maybe next time, and a win is hey they did it !
When I was younger I was #1 now I am #2
If you think about it a fan really gets nothing tangible from a win, no money [ unless they bet on it ] they dont get to play, and they get no trophy,
and no recognition.

Fans tend to think of Dallas Cowboys as "their" team but really it is only jerry's team lol, and fans just identify with and support a team.
As a result they start to feel good when their team wins and bad when they lose. This can be carried to extremes, like last year when the
cowboy fan was killed by I think a eagles fan after cowboys had won the game. A giants fan after giants lost sucker punched a cowboy fan
and broke his jaw, also last year at jerry world.

So lesson there is if cowboys win avoid fans of the other team!!!!!!!
They may be looking to hurt a cowboy fan so they can then feel better again.

I've experienced Superbowl losses by the Cowboys. I would gladly take another SB loss over 5-11 seasons, 8-8 seasons with no playoffs or early playoff exits. Obviously I would love to see them win another one, but losing in the Superbowl is not the worse thing. Teams such as those from the Quincy Carter years are far worse than a team that gets to and loses a SB. Bad teams become a chore to watch and endure from week to week. A team capable of getting to the Superbowl is a joy to watch.

yeah and I dont mind losing if they play a close game.
last year was not bad, it was a close game.
What I hate is getting beat bad like in the 2009 Minnesota game.
And I would rather get to SB and lose than not make playoffs or be 1 and done in WC round.

One and done. You barely deserved to be in playoffs.

Lose Super Bowl. Devastating.

If we ain't good enough to win Super Bowl. I don't want to be in it.

Unless pete Carroll is calling plays into our opponents coaches headset.

well not me , the super bowl is much more interesting with you team in it.
I like seattle and NE so last year was ok game, but if I dont like either team I may not even watch it.
If the cowboys are in it then it would be very interesting, and as long as they play a good game it is ok.
The whole win or not win thing is in your head, just getting to a SB is something special.
you have to be AFC AND NFC champs to get there !
if your team loses SB and you get mad, it is like saying the NFC championship win and trophy is meaningless.
And also that that is easy to do or get or win.

Dallas has not got past the divisional round since I guess the last SB year in 96, back when cell phones were the new deal, and some
actually had color screens, or were they all B&W? maybe they had no screen lol and window 95 was all the rage, and 56 k modems
were how you connected to this new Internet thing.
My first cell phone was 2002 I think and it had B&W screen. a tiny one.

The playoffs are alway better if cowboys are in, and it would be nice to see them win a NFC Championship .

Well.... Lol... Good read. Funny and interesting. Interesting because this year is also 20 years for me and my small internet business. Starting doing websites in 1995. Now, strictly corporate internet marketing. People were saying, "internet? What's that"?...."why do I need it?"..... "I don't need it"..... "Website, what's that?3
Etc.... You get my point :)

Favorite phone from. 00's = Motorola flip razr
Favorite phone from 10's = galaxy note 4

I hear ya and agree to disagree... But... An interesting Super Bowl because cowboys were in AND LOST. Doesn't work for me. I understand your pov though. It's just there are some things that I am indifferent about winning or losing..... Then there are things that I am "out of my head" about winning... On of those things is the Dallas cowboys.

the two most gut wrenching losses to me were The second SB loss to the Squeelers (and the BS so called interference call, plus Jackie's drop) and of course the catch.

I was able to somewhat handle losing SB X because that boys team really over achieved getting there and they still almost pulled it off. Knolls screwup at the end would matched Carrols of last year if we had pulled it off.

But to me losing in the SB would be worse then not getting there now.

Like I mentioned it really comes down to ones own point of view. It's going to differ with everyone but for me the farther you go in the playoffs the more painful the loss becomes. A title game loss is a lot more painful than losing in the 2nd round and nothing devastates me more than a SB loss. I can shake off any loss but a SB loss.

I can remember when I was a kid discarding all my cassette tapes after purchasing an 8 track tape player. :( At least I didn't dump my Vette for a Delorean.

For me the 1981 loss to the 49ers was as bad as it gets. Very close are the 66/67 losses to the Packers.
Losing the SB, well it's better to have lost at love then to never have loved at all.

I was too young to experience those losses. Thank goodness. Even "the catch" I didn't see live.
But I tell you what... Watching video about it... Bothers me... Oh well.....

There is where I disagree with people. If we ain't good enough to go and win.... I don't want to be that loser footnote in nfl history. ***** that.

As I said I didn't experience those losses.... But I was crushed by NFC title game vs 49ers when we were going for our threepeat. It's a fresh wound... Still!

The next crushing loss was losing the giants at home after cabo.

No more crushing losses... We do the crushing... For foreseeable future.

I'm not bothered by the losses the Cowboys suffered prior to becoming a fan. The first Cowboys game I watched was SB VI and started following the team during the 72 season. I've seen the highlights many times of the losses to the Packers in the Ice Bowl and to Baltimore in SB V but they don't bother me. You receive wounds from the games you watched live as a fan. What made the loss to SF in the 81 title game even more painful was me and my dad reserved tickets to the SB 2 weeks prior thinking the Cowboys would be there. We ended up going to Pontiac Michigan anyway. That was the first SB I ever attended so it was still exciting but definitely bitter-sweet.
