Personally I do not think it is a big deal but they have talking about it on the radio. I'm sure lots of players from the other teams that played last Thursday went somewhere and did something with their friends and family and spent time away from their respective teams practice facility, watching video, or practicing on their game. It is not like Romo or Austin skipped out on any team activity.

not me, we all now that romo and witten needed time to heal their bodies and the whole team was given the week off
even witten and romo stayed in friday to get some treatment work for their injuries

now, if we get another chance at a big bye week playoff game, and its in the cowboys stadium, then the players should stay in the area on that bye week, looking at film alittle, even asking coaches how about this or that,

players like bradie james saying coach i see this on film, or dat nyugen shows bradie some extra film wiht a key interception in the game, or someone else is shown that by extra time in film room etc

but this bye week, we needed to get players bodies healed up

Not me, newnationcb;

but if we get a playoff game then that extra time should be spent at home and alittle more film study not going to mexico like romo and a few other players did in 2007

As long as they did not make it rain and stayed out of trouble I have no issue with players getting away from everything for a few days when they have some down time.

True there are always simple minded people who will buy into this type of talk without understanding many players do the same thing when they have the time off. They don't hide in a cage or lock themselves up at home they have lives and will live them regardless of what the simple minded people think

If anyone still has doubts on who is the #1 receiver, anyone else find it odd that Romo didn't take RW to Vegas with him???

Why would anyone be surprised if this is made into a big deal?

It's just as moronic to criticize him for the Mexico trip, and that didn't stop the idiots then. Brett Favre was back in Mississippi and Tom Brady was in New York that exact same weekend.

No problem whatsoever as long as they aren't missing practice time...which they aren't.

Here is the trash site with the pics. It is a good thing Tiger is having issues right now or this would probably be front page news for all the media outlets.

Exactly. I don't know why some feel Romo should not have a life, according to those who know him he puts in a lot of time at Valley Ranch and is constantly working to improve as a player. If he wants to go out and have fun go for it and as long as your not out causing trouble or breaking the law I have no issue with it
