Anyone want Aaron Brooks?

I'm kinda wondering why they aren't trying to get Adrian McPherson some playing time. I was really hoping Dallas would snag him in the later rounds.

No, simply because talent means nothing without leadership. He doesn't seem like he can command a huddle. Players don't look like there motivated by him.

*#***#* NO. He loves himself way too much for someone that has had a ton of weapons, and has never been consistent. Not a good fit with Bill.

It amazes me that EVERYTIME a player comes available someone on this board will ask the question... "Do we want this player" ? It doesn't matter how good or bad the player is, someone will ask. I saw George Blanda kicking field goals the other day......should we?

No to Brooks and yes to Blanda. I think he has some gas left in the tank. LOL

The guy has the physical ability. Obviously my answer would be no if we were getting the exact same player that played in N.O.. As a previous poster said, maybe working in a ball control offense under a coach like Parcells would eliminate a lot of the terrible impulse decisions he makes. In that case, it would be up to Parcells to decide if Brooks is worth the time/effort or not.

Interesting timing since he just ripped Tags on Jim Grey's radio show before the Monday night game. I don't remember the specifics but he said that Tags hasn't done enough for the Saints.

What exactly do the Saints need? While I feel bad for what happened to them, everyday folks in NO have had to endure MUCH greater adversity that the Saints have, yet they find a way to go on. They aren't even in NO anymore...

This is a team that has underacheived for years. They have jumped at the chance for another excuse...

Nope.

He could do someone some good that may just need a QB to get things moving, like the Cardinals.

He has also been a victim of bad coaching.

Haslett should have lost his job 2 years ago.

I wonder if this move would give Adrian Mcpherson a shot, that guy intrigues me a little bit.

If he can line up WR and make plays then I would consider it...

We've GOT our QB in Bledsoe!!

:starspin

I always wondered why a guy with good speed like Brooks got sacked so much. He's actually been sacked one more time than Bledsoe this year. Then Monday night I understood. His center is a terrible pass blocker.

Sounds like we would have to let David Lee overhaul his mechanics

You are right.

He did such a smashing job with Henson, let's give him a shot with Brooks.

Cards is a good idea though, he may end up there. Don't see him doing much better, the Cards OL is probably even worse.
