It's a forum, I get it. Rash opinions fuel this machine. But the ridiculousness of watching a couple minute clip of one single game, without at all considering the context, and coming to the conclusion that you are not impressed with a player is comedy gold and shockingly lazy.

My opinion of Bosa is high because his production was exceptional and the vast majority of professional evaluators across the nation love this kid. Did I watch every game of his, or break down his tape? Nope, not at all. If you did than I respect your opinion on the player what ever it may be. But lets assume 95% of this board doesn't do any sort of in depth analysis (please don't argue me on this, because it's probably closer to 99%). Based off this ASSumption, can we all please tone down the lazy, low effort posts that create these bogus narratives I have to read in every single draft thread that have little basis in reality.

As a side note, for anyone who is honest with themselves, has realized over the past few months that this board has an irrational love for Zeke and an irrational hate for Bosa.

Plenty of can't miss Rb's that MISSED. Same can be said for every position but this board is acting that Zeke is 2nd coming of AP or Emmitt.

Agree. But reason I have more faith in EE than others who missed is more than just his vision, moves, and speed on tape, it's his toughness: he led the nation with more than 1,000 yards AFTER CONTACT this year. He AVERAGED 3.6 yards per carry AFTER CONTACT. This was a man amongst boys. And he's only 20.

You had too much faith on that D. The entire 2nd half DL wouldn't get close to Rodgers and he + Cobbs just torched up repeatedly.

They were opportunistic all season no reason to think they cldnt make a play in a different situation who knows

It's been said repeatedly that Bosa is no quick-twitch pass rusher and that's quite true. What he is might best be described as tenacious and powerful.

He's one of those types that never lets up and will eventually wear down a lesser opponent. That's not a bad thing, although it's a little less than great.

I could live with that if the Cowboys' organization deems it worthwhile to take advantage of what he has to offer. He's way more than anyone we have.

First I was hoping for a QB at #4, then Zeke, but after reading most of the very compelling arguments presented in this forum -- which are actually better than most what we hear from many of the pros, IMO -- I'll be happy if we pick Bosa. We don't necessarily have to move on from Randy Gregory, but I think we need to be prepared for another disappointing lapse of judgement from him. Ditto for DeMarcus Lawrence. It is kind of tragic to have to find replacements for players so young, but a pass rush isn't optional in the NFL if you want a good defense, and Gregory and Lawrence just aren't dependable.

He is nowhere near the pass rusher Demarcus Ware is, that is what they mean. They aren't saying 10-12 either, they are saying 8-10.

2.) Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State. The Cowboys must come out of this draft with some players who get after opposing quarterbacks. Bosa might never be a 15-20 sack guy, but he could be 10-12 and many experts believe he's the best 4-3 defensive end in this class.

All over ESPN and other sites....this one from Machota....still, sack projections are silly. No one knows
