I cant ever remember watching a football team at this time of year and thinking 16-0 really is a possibility. I actually feel that way about the pats.

I just dont see how anyone matches up with them.they look like a 15-1 team.

ok...lets make a wager on that

I'll bet they dont win more than 12

10-7 going into the half against the Panthers, and they're going to be 16-0? The Patriots secondary is almost making me forget that Delhomme was one of the worst QBs in the league in '06.

Maybe that's where the value of Samuel on the defense comes out. With him back there, maybe the suckage isn't as important.

The Panthers receivers have been making some good catches, tho.

That's true, but I'd imagine Carolina would be able to run a little better with Kalil at his natural position and their starting guard in the lineup.

Side note: Two blocked kicks is just sad. That second one should have been a TD. He had three shots to the endzone, with two of them wide open. Delhomme sucks arse.

Yeah...but then you look at the score and realize that w/all the secondary suckage, Pats are up by 10 with two blocked FGs. A good team would light their secondary up.

Really, really nice run by Heath Evans.

Ehh...take away one of the blocked field goals and insert a decent QB who connects on one of those 3 attempts to the endzone, and it's a tied game. Just not seeing the justification for the 16-0 comments.

I'm sure they'll be a good team -- they always are.

You got it. I say this team goes 14-2 or 15-1.

and I didnt say they would go 16-0, what I said was I have never watched a team and thought this actually could be a 16-0 team, I dont see anyone else with the qb, the overall talent and the premier head coach.

If you want to take shots at me for having an opinion, do it, dont be subtle about it.

SO again 14-2 or 15-1. SOmeone somewhere will get them or they will have everything wrapped up and lose a game in the end that doesnt have the value to them.

Let's get this in concrete terms here fellas. What's the line? 12 wins? 13 wins? 14?

What are the stakes? :D

Gotta love Brady, he spread the ball around, to eight different receivers in first half.

again, try reading bro. I didnt say they would finish 16-0 I said I dont remember ever watching a team at this time of the year and thinking 16-0 is a possibility, maybe one of those niners teams, In 1990 it was hard to believe the niners were ever going to get beat, they looked faster, smarter and flat out more talented than everyone.

They didnt go 16-0 and they lost at home in the nfc championship.

I feel like this pats team can play any style, THey can spread you out and play in a shootout, they can play two tight ends and run on kyle brady's side in a 13-10 type game you would expect in baltimore and they can play the balanced game that it takes to beat indy.

I just dont see anyone else with the talent level, coaching and quarterback as new england.

They look like men among boys tonight and they dont appear to be trying all that hard.

Dude, you said it was a "real possibility" that they'd go 16-0. I read it, because you typed it.

You get kind of whiny when people disagree with you.

The Pats will definitely be good... But man, Carolina looks terrible for the second week in a row. Wasn't it just last week that the Eagles killed them?

It's hard to say, because the Pats and Eagles might be two of the best teams in the whole NFL. But if I'm a Panthers fan, I'm pretty worried. This team might just implode this year.
