Anyone who would blame this loss on Romo needs their head examined

Meaningless is probably not the word I should have used. The point is, you can't just retroactively make this into a career defining game just because we lost, since I don't think anyone is going to say the Minnesota game was some magical win either. It was a tough loss, that's it. But people will be bringing it up years from now like they do the Jets game from two years ago, an out of conference game in Week 1.

They all matter. If the team has the mindset to pick and choose "important" games, it explains much. Hell, win this and detroit and you get the seed.

Historic losses (23-3, 27-3 leads) tend to be remembered.
