Today I learned on the Pat McAfee Show with JJ Watt (around 2 pm Eastern) that we are apparently the only team that allows anybody to walk through our facilities during practice and workouts.
Has anyone else heard about this? Apparently, if someone pays a certain amount, they can tour The Star and watch practice. Rather than putting a curtain over the windows during practice, apparently people can watch practice.
Am I the only one that realises an obvious problem? Remember the whole spy gate situation back in the day because the Patriots, allegedly, recorded other teams' practices? If we are allowing random people to just walk around and watch practice, what's to stop someone from another team buying a ticket under the guise of being corporate? Let's say, the 49ers, since we are playing them next. What's to say that someone from the 49ers doesn't buy a ticket, since we're giving such access, and they use the practice to, I don't know, get a behind the scenes look at our preparation? Maybe get some ideas on how to stop what we're practicing? Am I the only one that sees the giant disadvantage that this gives us? No wonder we are struggling this season!! As long as Jerry's making money I suppose...
