Not the best of policies considering the state of our country, and the distance between the stadium, and the border.

I do not remember that, but it's incredibly dumb
The focus is just football,” Schultz said of playing in Houston. “Going back and telling some people about being around the Cowboys’ practice facility and game day, describing some of the interactions and stuff that you see on a day-to-day basis, it surprises a lot of people. They’re like ‘Holy crap, that actually happens at a practice facility?’ You think it’s normal, and then you come to a place like this.”

Schultz said that while the Texans get to do their work uninterrupted, the Cowboys give tours of their team facility while the players are trying to do their jobs.

“There’s people literally going on tours while you’re lifting in the weight room. They’ve got a one-way mirror for people to look in. It’s literally a zoo,” Schultz said of Dallas. “There’s people tapping on the glass, trying to get people’s attention while they’re doing power cleans or whatever. It’s different. That’s the brand that they’ve built, that’s what Jerry Jones likes, that’s the way they run things, and there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just you don’t realize how many eyeballs and how much that can maybe distract from stuff in the locker room being in the facility, until you go somewhere else and you’re like, ‘Holy crap, there’s none of that.’”

No one’s watching practice or meetings. But yes people are in the facility while that goes on.

That's why I questioned the situation. Even if teams aren't stealing our signals, they can interfere with our workouts and such. Maybe that's why Dak was saying that the practices haven't been great the other day.

Today I learned on the Pat McAfee Show with JJ Watt (around 2 pm Eastern) that we are apparently the only team that allows anybody to walk through our facilities during practice and workouts.

Has anyone else heard about this? Apparently, if someone pays a certain amount, they can tour The Star and watch practice. Rather than putting a curtain over the windows during practice, apparently people can watch practice.

Am I the only one that realises an obvious problem? Remember the whole spy gate situation back in the day because the Patriots, allegedly, recorded other teams' practices? If we are allowing random people to just walk around and watch practice, what's to stop someone from another team buying a ticket under the guise of being corporate? Let's say, the 49ers, since we are playing them next. What's to say that someone from the 49ers doesn't buy a ticket, since we're giving such access, and they use the practice to, I don't know, get a behind the scenes look at our preparation? Maybe get some ideas on how to stop what we're practicing? Am I the only one that sees the giant disadvantage that this gives us? No wonder we are struggling this season!! As long as Jerry's making money I suppose...

Bastids! Yeah, buy a ticket and watch the boys work out.

What about the ticket so we can check out the Cheerleaders locker room? You would make a hell of a lot more money. (i bet that was on jj's mind at one time).

Freaking snake!

That's a good point. That'd be a much more exciting experience.

Between anybody being able to walk thru the facility getting autographs and helicopters landing on the practice field, there you go. You will not find this happening at any other football practices.

Jerry is the P.T. Barnum of 21st-century sports. He well knows that "a sucker is born every minute," and always has a circus tent open to accommodate them. And...and...and...just wait until next year!
