Randy White? Bob Lilly? Granted I never saw Lily play. I did see Manster play, Harvey Martin was as good as him from what I saw going on back then. I'm going to say that Parsons has the chance to surpass them both, Ware, Haley, Williams, Woodson, Walls, and every other defensive player I've seen come and go over my 45 years of fanhood. Parsons is generational talent.Charles Haley
Well saidBeen watching the Cowboys for 40 years and I think I always took for granted our legendary players.
Parsons looked so good his rookie year, people were throwing around the LT tag, which is not used lightly.
I wasn’t ready to go all in after his rookie season with so much disappointment lately and I was bothered by some of the social media and interview hype from him in the offseason. Was afraid we had another guy ready to put on the shades and bask in the Hollywood spotlight.
But folks — I think it’s official, we have the BEST defensive player in the NFL RIGHT NOW on our roster. 4 sacks his first 2 games his second season. As others have pointed out, his impressive pass rush stats are with far fewer attempts than the average Edge. He can run with anyone on the field. Physical skills are just freaky to watch. And his intensity this season off the field and pre-game has been great to watch. I can already see him becoming a leader. He makes so many players on this D better.
Enjoy this man while you can. For you young fans, someone like this does not come around often. I’m just glad that we drafted him.
You could conceivably replace him with 10 first rounders and be worse off then you were.
Probably pretty close to franchise QB value. Multiple firsts, etc.I was wondering what Parsons trade value would be as of today. Not that I want him traded, just what it would be.
Here is Burrow yelling to Zac Taylor “No empty set!” Because Micah was getting on him so quick.
Though he did not take every penny due to an even richer wife, Tom Brady sure got paid. As did others. This is called selective memory.Only fools pay players...even good ones. Belichek forever.

Funny how no one says a player is underpaid. The moment the rookie contract is up, watch the turn of events on Micah......on this board.
Best defensive impact player since D Ware. Best physical specimen impact player since Randy White. I am glad you are on board with Simba (Parsons). I got ripped on the forum anointing him the best impact player in the 2021 draft better than any of those DBs the Jonesboys were looking at before the draft. He proved it in the 2021 Bowl game in Jerry's World, and nailed it at his Pro Day. If you see impact talent, and then the workout confirms impact athleticism, you have an impact player. I had no doubt. He was a beast in high School, beast in college, beast in bowl game, and confirmed it with a beast performance on Pro Day.Been watching the Cowboys for 40 years and I think I always took for granted our legendary players.

Imagine the words "Parsons" and "settle" being in the same sentence now lol.Member when we were all mad we didn't get a flashy CB, and had to settle for him? I member! You member?!
I think if it was draft time, we could conceivably get the #1 overall pick for him, PLUS more.I was wondering what Parsons trade value would be as of today. Not that I want him traded, just what it would be.
Repeating the same dumb comment doesn’t change the fact it’s a dumb comment!Paying players is stupid.
